Candace From Walls Of Jericho To Miss Shows
July 28, 2009
Candace from Walls Of Jericho will miss this week's shows. Below is a message from the band:

"Two days ago we received Info that a dear friend and a part of Candace's family, Emery Keathley, member of detroit's Cold As Life, suffered a heart attack and did not make it. Emery was 29 and leaves behind a young son and another child on the way in 3 weeks. Due to these circumstances Candace got on a flight yesterday and went home to be there for her best friend, Emery's wife, and her god son, in this time of tragedy.

Our thoughts are with both Stephanie and Candace and their respected families. In the mean time we will be doing the next 6 shows here in Europe with vocal contributions from our good friends in The Red Chord from both Guy and Gunface and with Chris Rawson (WOJ) also doing a few songs as well. We encourage anyone who comes to these next string of shows to get up on stage, if you know the songs, and scream your ass off with us. Also for these the rest of this tour we will have a donation jar for Emery's family to help pay for the funeral cost.

would be greatly appreciated!! They can be made through PayPal here: kateymuffinbrain@yahoo.com

is doing everything she can to make it back on the tour in the next few days and we appreciate your patience and understanding with this very sad and tragic situation."

Earth Crisis Release New Album, Post New Video Online
May 9, 2009
One of the most anticipated and talked about reunions of 2008 was without a doubt the reformation of Earth Crisis. The pioneers of the hardcore, straight edge movement have crafted their most angst ridden and unrelenting offering of their already stellar career and this effort is going to serve as a much needed wake up call to the masses. The highly anticipated release, 'To The Death', is now available as the group embarks on a lengthy U.S. headlining tour with Walls of Jericho, Reign Supreme, Blood Stands Still and Unholy in the support slots. Be sure to visit www.myspace.com/earthcrisis to view their complete touring itinerary.

Earth Crisis' new conceptual video for the crushing track, “To Ashes,” can now be viewed exclusively at www.myspace.com/metal, so head over now to check it out.

Scott Crouse (guitars) further comments: “This is an exciting time for Earth Crisis. 'To The Death', our first record in nine years, is finally in stores and we couldn't be more proud of it. Paul Romano's (Mastodon) art came out incredible and Tue Madsen (August Burns Red, Winds of Plague) made us sound the way we always should have. We are currently out on tour and the response to the new songs has been incredible. On top of that we have a new conceptual video for the song ‘To Ashes.’ It was directed by David Brodsky (Black Dahlia Murder, White Chapel), who did an amazing job capturing the vibe of the song. We hope all our diehard fans go out and buy 'To The Death' and we promise you won’t be disappointed. See you all soon.”

In 2009, Earth Crisis has returned to remind everyone what hardcore is all about.

Unholy Streaming Entire New Album Online
May 5, 2009
The Syracuse, NY based metallic hardcore act, Unholy, and their label Prosthetic Records are pleased to announce that 'New Life Behind Closed Eyes' will be up streaming in its entirety on Lambgoat.com starting on Tuesday, May 5th. This gives fans and newcomers an entire week to listen to the full album before it is released on Tuesday, May 12th. And what better place to offer a full stream then Lambgoat.com, seeing as the Unholy's debut release, 'Blood of the Medusa', was released through (the now defunct) Lambgoat Records back in 2007.

Check out 'New Life Behind Closed Eyes' and don’t forget to catch Unholy who are currenty touring across the US with Earth Crisis and Walls of Jericho, which kicked off Saturday May 2nd in Fredericksburg, VA. Check out the full list of dates below.

Here’s what guitarist Jonathan Dennison has to say about the full stream of the band’s upcoming release, 'New Life Behind Closed Eyes'; “Just when we thought we escaped Lambgoat, the home of NO CARE EVER! Now you get to take the first peak at our new record, two years since our Lambgoat debut. We can't wait to hear the feedback from some of the most creative posters on the internet."

The follow-up to 2007's 'Blood of the Medusa' (Lambgoat Records), 'New Life Behind Closed Eyes' was recorded at Syracuse's Moresound Studios (Ed Gein) and sees new vocalist Billy Price paint a scathing portrait of mankind's failures and shortcomings. The album's concept, written by Dennison, revolves around an end-time narrative of the final days of humanity delivered by its own hand. Richly detailed artwork furthers the album's unsettling mood, but ultimately, it's the music within -- a very heavy take on the northeastern metal sound, with strong riffs, intense vocals and sharp soloing -- that makes Unholy impossible to ignore.

'New Life Behind Closed Eyes' track listing:
1. Seeker Immortal
2. Children of Eternal Sleep
3. These Wounds Never Heal
4. Into The Flesh Of Another
5. The Blinding Light
6. Look To The Blood
7. No Faith

Walls Of Jericho Prepare For Tour With Earth Crisis
April 29, 2009
Refusing to slow down, Detroit's frontrunning hardcore thrashers Walls Of Jericho continue on the road in support of their latest release on Trustkill Records, 'The American Dream'. Celebrating the 10 year anniversary of the bands first CD release, they look forward to hitting the road for a late spring trek with Earth Crisis, a band that they toured with 9 years ago on their first ever full U.S. tour. Dates kick off May 1 upon the bands return from conquering Europe.

Walls of Jericho are beyond excited for this tour! 9 years ago Earth Crisis took us on our first major U.S. tour and thru the years we've become great friends with everyone in that band. It's a privilege and an honor to share the stage with such an influential band that has changed everyone in this bands life in one way or another. It's gonna be awesome,” says Dustin of Walls Of Jericho

'The American Dream', produced by Ben Schigel (Chimaira, Ringworm) was deemed by Rock Sound to be “Another great record from a truly great band” and Metal Hammer states that Walls of Jericho is "A band with an edge that devilishly sharpens as the years progress”.

Also listen for the Walls Of Jericho track "A Long Walk Home" in the upcoming feature film "Bitch Slap," already deemed a ‘cult classic”. A modern throwback to the 1950–1970 “B” movie exploitation films, it plays over a very brutal yet slightly funny fight between the film’s heroes and two vicious characters, Hot Wire and Kinki, to hit theaters late summer 2009. After completing ‘With Devils Amongst Us All’ in 2006, Walls of Jericho hit the road... hard. Along the way, they destroyed city after city on Ozzfest and Family Values, as well as tours with Stone Sour, Unearth, and Bullet For My Valentine just to name a few. When all that winded down, it was time for a new adventure.

In October 2007, Walls of Jericho decided to take some time out to record their new EP. They decided they'd finally do something they haven't had the chance to do: record an acoustic EP. "It's something we've been wanting to do for a long time," said Dustin Schoenhofer, drummer. "You can hear it on pretty much every record the band's ever done. We've always had some kind of acoustic with some kind of metal thing going on. The opportunity came so we decided to do it." To helm this project, the band chose to enlist Corey Taylor (Slipknot/Stone Sour) to produce the record.

For vocalist Candace Kucsulain, this was a chance to do something she loved. "I was really into singing when I was younger. This band didn't really allow for that, especially live," she commented. "I'm really proud of what we did. It was our first time really doing something like that and even writing that way. Living for two weeks together and doing it, I definitely want to do it again. I'm very proud of the end result."

After two weeks, the end result was a new EP called ‘Redemption’. While the EP is an extreme departure from previous Walls of Jericho records, the band is very happy with the project. "It's really different than the things that we do, yet at the same time I hear us in it everywhere," said Mike Hasty, guitars. "We were able to capture a whole, completely different feel yet keep every element that makes us who we are and that was important." Producer Corey Taylor, who also lends guest vocals on the album, sees this as a unique project. "It's one of those albums that comes around every once in awhile that every track is a piece unto itself."

”Redemption’ will be released April 29th 2008, and their new full length album produced by Mudrock (Avenged Sevenfold/Godsmack) will be available this Summer. Walls of Jericho are heading out on the road on the inaugural run of the Mayhem Festival with Slipknot, Disturbed, Mastodon, Dragonforce and many more.
