OneSideZero Added To KROQ's 'L.A. Invasion'
September 12, 2007
Los Angeles-based band Onesidezero has been added to KROQ's 'L.A. Invasion' featuring Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, Velvet Revolver, Kid Rock and Chris Cornell at the Home Depot Center in Los Angeles on September 15. Onesidezero will headline the Bud Light-sponsored second stage. Performances begin at 11:00 a.m. and admission is free.

"We're honored that KROQ would consider adding our band to such a huge festival," says Onesidezero guitarist Levon Sultanian. "KROQ has been one of the biggest supporters of our new self-titled album and we cannot thank them enough for all their support. We've had such a great reaction to our new album from the fans and we cannot wait to get out on the road and share it with everyone in early 2008."

Onesidezero is currently supporting their recently released Ulrich Wild-produced (Static-X, Stabbing Westward, Taproot) sophomore album, which was released through Corporate Punishment Records. The album is the long-awaited follow-up to the band's critically acclaimed 2001 debut, 'Is This Room Getting Smaller?'.

Velvet Revolver, the much buzzed-about rock group featuring Stone Temple Pilots vocalist Scott Weiland, former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash, bassist Duff McKagan, drummer Matt Sorum and guitarist Dave Kushner from Dave Navarro’s band, has signed an exclusive worldwide recording agreement with RCA Records. The quintet will release its highly anticipated debut album in 2004. Weiland, Slash, McKagan, Sorum and Kushner are revered as five of rock's most valuable players. Their illustrious careers are highlighted by an astonishing run of chart-topping gold and platinum albums, major industry awards, critical acclaim and music of monolithic power. Together they're making rock history with a lineup of unparalleled artistic and commercial success. "This is a milestone signing for RCA. Velvet Revolver is distinguished by not only its powerhouse musicianship but also by its new material. The songs I've heard will propel this group to the very forefront of rock music today," said Clive Davis, Chairman/CEO RCA Music Group. "We're thrilled to partner with RCA Records and its legendary chief, the enigmatic Clive Davis," says Velvet Revolver. "We believe this marriage will be a loyal, dedicated and fruitful relationship not based solely on business, but instead on the thing that once dared us all to dream-music." This past summer, Velvet Revolver fired its first shot at a celebrity-filled El Rey Theater in Los Angeles. The all-star group garnered rave reviews.
