Evergreen Terrace Announce Headline Tour
September 18, 2009
Jacksonville, FL’s Evergreen Terrace has announced a headlining tour heading from Texas to Florida including west coast and Midwest dates. The tour will include support from For The Fallen Dreams, Asking Alexandria and Unholy and comes hot on the heels of the band’s current tour with Emmure.

Evergreen Terrace are gearing up for the release of their new album, 'Almost Home', on Metal Blade Records on September 29th. Ironically the title is a statement from the band about their constant touring and how they are always Almost Home before returning to the road which they have done since 1999.

Guitarist Joshua James comments “We are a touring band, and it feels like we are forever saying we're ‘almost home.’ Touring is something that nothing compares to, but there's a feeling of almost being home that resonates with all of us.”

The band recently posted a song “Sending Signals” to their Myspace page. A video for the song was also recently filmed.

Evergreen Terrace Post First Single, Launch New Myspace
July 7, 2009
Jacksonville, Florida's Evergreen Terrace have posted the first single from their upcoming full length, 'Almost Home'. "Enemy Sex" is now available for fans to stream on the band's myspace page at http://www.myspace.com/evergreenterrace.

Speaking on the significance of the new album's title, James says, “We are a touring band, and it feels like we are forever saying we're ‘almost home.' Touring is something that nothing compares to, but there's a feeling of almost being home that resonates with all of us. In a way the band has come full circle back to its original home. We started this band for fun, and it lead us to success. Writing this album has brought us back to the beginning. It has been fun, crazy, frustrating, insomniatic and even with the inevitable pressure, pretty carefree.”

'Almost Home'
is the band's 6th studio album and will be available everywhere on September 29th.

Evergreen Terrace's
drummer, Kyle Mims, was recently injured in a bike accident and suffered a broken collar bone. Check out the photos at the links below.

“On July 2nd, Kyle went back to the doctors and they told him that if he wants to continue to play drums he will have to have surgery. The surgery will cost him $10,000. They require $5,000 up front and the other $5,000 once the surgery is complete. His emergency room bills, tests, ambulance ride, etc. is estimated to be an additional $10,000. He was very close to receiving health insurance thru his work, but unfortunately this happened before it did.

Kyle's
mom and stepdad (Stacy and Mark Earle) have set up a donation site if you are interested. If not, then please keep him in your thoughts.” - Evergreen Terrace

Earth Crisis Release New Album, Post New Video Online
May 9, 2009
One of the most anticipated and talked about reunions of 2008 was without a doubt the reformation of Earth Crisis. The pioneers of the hardcore, straight edge movement have crafted their most angst ridden and unrelenting offering of their already stellar career and this effort is going to serve as a much needed wake up call to the masses. The highly anticipated release, 'To The Death', is now available as the group embarks on a lengthy U.S. headlining tour with Walls of Jericho, Reign Supreme, Blood Stands Still and Unholy in the support slots. Be sure to visit www.myspace.com/earthcrisis to view their complete touring itinerary.

Earth Crisis' new conceptual video for the crushing track, “To Ashes,” can now be viewed exclusively at www.myspace.com/metal, so head over now to check it out.

Scott Crouse (guitars) further comments: “This is an exciting time for Earth Crisis. 'To The Death', our first record in nine years, is finally in stores and we couldn't be more proud of it. Paul Romano's (Mastodon) art came out incredible and Tue Madsen (August Burns Red, Winds of Plague) made us sound the way we always should have. We are currently out on tour and the response to the new songs has been incredible. On top of that we have a new conceptual video for the song ‘To Ashes.’ It was directed by David Brodsky (Black Dahlia Murder, White Chapel), who did an amazing job capturing the vibe of the song. We hope all our diehard fans go out and buy 'To The Death' and we promise you won’t be disappointed. See you all soon.”

In 2009, Earth Crisis has returned to remind everyone what hardcore is all about.
