Thine Eyes Bleed Check In From The Studio; Photos Available
April 10, 2007
Frontman Justin Wolfe of Canadian thrashers Thine Eyes Bleed has checked in with the following update:

"Well, we spent a little over 3 weeks at Beach Road Studios (Goderich, ON) tracking our yet “untitled” album with Engineer/Producer Siegfried Meier, and we feel things couldn’t have been better this time around. We were able to listen and create without the pressures of budget/time and it’s really going to show. The music is still to be mixed and sounds better than anything we have done so far. We lived in a 63’ mobile home on the farmland beside the studio that looked out to lake Huron, no distractions only time to focus, very peaceful.

There were many long days and nights filled with music, poker, guitar hero, ice cream, reefer n’ beer… the way it should be. As far as the new tunes go, we don’t think fans will be disappointed, we knew it was going to be heavy… Indeed it is. Listeners can expect a much more focused album that doesn’t let up.We now await the final mix from John Ewing Jr. @ NRG Studios (Hollywood, CA) and should have things wrapped up in time this month for a summer release!"

The band re-released their 2005 debut entitled 'In the Wake of Separation', in May of 2006. The CD included the bonus track "Better off Dead" (previously available only in Japan) and the video for "Cold Victim".

Thine Eyes Bleed took part in the mega-successful North American and European legs of the 2006 Unholy Alliance Tour, which featured Slayer, Children Of Bodom, Mastodon and Lamb Of God.

Thine Eyes Bleed To Start Working On New Album
March 15, 2007
Canadian thrashers Thine Eyes Bleed have entered the studio to commence work on their sophomore album.

Frontman Justin Wolfe writes checks in from the studio:

"We entered Beach Road Studio (located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada) on March 11th, 2007 to begin tracking with Seigfried Meier. We will be here over the next few weeks and are excited to dive into this recording. We are now a few days into the drums and they sound amazing, the tracking room is nice and spacious with high ceilings and pine walls creating great acoustics. Darryl has been shredding his drum tracks so far, letting us know this is gonna be some brutal shit! As for the rest of us, guitar hero has been the main focus so far, enhancing our hand-eye coordination."

The band re-released their 2005 debut 'In the Wake of Separation', in May of 2006 via The End Records. The CD included the bonus track "Better off Dead" (previously available only in Japan) and the video for "Cold Victim".

Last Year Thine Eyes Bleed took part in the mega-successful North American and European legs of the 2006 Unholy Alliance Tour, which featured headliners Slayer, alongside Children Of Bodom, Mastodon and Lamb Of God.

February 1, 2007
Vocalist Justin Wolfe of the Canadian thrash/metalcore act Thine Eyes Bleed has issued the following update:

"We have been working on some new material as much as possible through the holidays and so far this winter... It's cold. Maybe some day we'll have a heated practice space.

"We have three shows with Slayer and Unearth in a little over a week, We all just got back in town and are hittin' it hard putting together a set with some new material. Sounding good this weekend for being after a small break.

"Looks like we will be hitting the studio mid-March to begin recording our second album! We are extremely excited and will have more details posted very soon, as for who? when? where?... Looks like we will also take on a headline gig at London, ON's Salt Lounge March 2nd. [We're] planning to debut most, if not all, of our new material!!"

Biography
YEAR FORMED: 2004
HOME TOWN: London, Ontario Canada
MEMBERS:
Justin Wolfe -Vocals/ Jeff Phillips - Guitar/ Derek Ward -Guitar/ Johnny Araya - Bass/ Darryl Stephens -Drums/

If you believe that you have seen everything Metal has to offer, suspend that belief! You have not seen "Thine Eyes Bleed"!

Each member of "Thine Eyes Bleed" brings with them a radically different perspective on music, but for all the differences, there is a common ground, Metal. All the members are connoisseurs of the different facets of darkness, brutality and ultra-violence that the genre can portray.

Piercing riffs delivered with lightening speed and precision are contrasted with cryptically twisted and pummeling dirges, pushing the listener to the very boundaries of experience. Dueling guitar melodies remind us of what was so addictive about classic metal and thrash. The drumming is relentless, masterfully integrating many different styles. Blast beats explode out of whiplash inducing double bass patterns. The vocals own a wide range of intense screams and guttural lows, conveying tormented imagery with blood chilling effectiveness.

"Thine Eyes Bleed" does not confine its song writing to a single genre; it is a band that will never be typecast. The only rule that this band heeds is that the songs must be brutal and unforgettable.

It's time for the world to hear what these Canadian metal warriors have to say and they are more than willing to bring their infectious brand of sonic destruction wherever there are receptive ears.
