Terror To Kick Off 2010 As Part Of 'Mosh Lives II Tour'
December 22, 2009
The tireless and tour-hungry hardcore loyalists in LA's Terror, spearheaded by the endless enthusiasm of frontman Scott Vogel, have earned quite a reputation since forming at the turn of the millennium. Their melding of no-frills breakneck hardcore and the fervor of new generation metal bridges the gap between young and old, and it makes for one hell of a pit no matter what city or stage the band leaves in ruin. Vogel has been a key figure in the scene's survival, having given up a normal home life to slug it out on the road despite broken limbs, slipped discs and everything else that comes with hosting a Terror show.

This past year saw Terror tour relentlessly across the world a number of times over in support of their highly acclaimed latest album, 'The Damned, The Shamed', and will kick off the New Year with a massive North American run, dubbed "The Mosh Lives II Tour" with Emmure, After The Burial, Miss May I and Thick As Blood. The trek kicks off on Jan. 22nd and be sure to head over to for all current tourdates and news.

further states: "It's crazy to think that at this point Terror has been around for about eight years. I guess after this year we have been around the world four times, recently adding Hawaii and Southeast Asia to the places we've played. The Atticus tour and the 10 For $10 tour were really wonderful, letting us clearly know that the U.S. is still solidly behind us. We are finishing up the year writing for our new LP 'Keepers Of The Faith'. I guess we kind of are a real band at this point as we prepare for our fifth album. Emmure is taking us out again in January and then off to Europe with Madball, Death Before Dishonor and Cruel Hand. Life's good. The true believers remain."

If anything, Terror's goal is to bring back the good natured release of circle pits and stage dives as well as the finger-pointing anthems that were once integral to the hardcore scene.

Evergreen Terrace Post First Single, Launch New Myspace
July 7, 2009
Jacksonville, Florida's Evergreen Terrace have posted the first single from their upcoming full length, 'Almost Home'. "Enemy Sex" is now available for fans to stream on the band's myspace page at

Speaking on the significance of the new album's title, James says, “We are a touring band, and it feels like we are forever saying we're ‘almost home.' Touring is something that nothing compares to, but there's a feeling of almost being home that resonates with all of us. In a way the band has come full circle back to its original home. We started this band for fun, and it lead us to success. Writing this album has brought us back to the beginning. It has been fun, crazy, frustrating, insomniatic and even with the inevitable pressure, pretty carefree.”

'Almost Home'
is the band's 6th studio album and will be available everywhere on September 29th.

Evergreen Terrace's
drummer, Kyle Mims, was recently injured in a bike accident and suffered a broken collar bone. Check out the photos at the links below.

“On July 2nd, Kyle went back to the doctors and they told him that if he wants to continue to play drums he will have to have surgery. The surgery will cost him $10,000. They require $5,000 up front and the other $5,000 once the surgery is complete. His emergency room bills, tests, ambulance ride, etc. is estimated to be an additional $10,000. He was very close to receiving health insurance thru his work, but unfortunately this happened before it did.

mom and stepdad (Stacy and Mark Earle) have set up a donation site if you are interested. If not, then please keep him in your thoughts.” - Evergreen Terrace

Drummer Caleb James will be filling in on drums for the upcoming “Summer Slob Tour” with The Acacia Strain, Cruel Hand and Unholy.

Sworn Enemy Post New Song Online, Launch New Myspace Page
May 15, 2009
Sworn Enemy are one of those few bands that can never be derailed, no matter how many obstacles and hardships are thrown at them. They now return with their most uncompromising and vicious offering yet, 'Total World Domination', which is set for a June 16th North American release and a June 22nd release throughout Europe. This new effort perfectly blends the band’s old-school, beat you down hardcore style with a thrash metal infusion resulting in material that will tear your face off. The scathing new track, “Still Hating,” is now streaming at the band’s newly designed MySpace page. Prepare to be annihilated.

These maniacs recently embarked on a massive North American headlining tour, Trendkilla 09. The run, which kicked off on May 1st also features For The Fallen Dreams, ABACABB, Suffokate and Thick As Blood in the supporting slots. Either see below or visit their MySpace page to view their complete touring itinerary.

Lorenzo Antonucci (guitars) further comments: “It’s been a long time coming, we haven't hit North America in over a year. We are very excited to be playing all the markets we are hitting on this run because most of them we have never even played before. We are playing the Blood For Blood cover song that we recorded for our new album exclusively for Europe, but the people in the U.S. can catch it live. We have some amazing new Mamaluke TV footage coming soon. Just wait, you won’t believe this shit.

“This is also our test ground for playing the new songs off of our new album, 'Total World Domination', which is our hardest album yet. It’s a good mix of 'As Real As It Gets' and 'Maniacal', but fucking harder. I know everyone says that their new album is the best album yet and the fans are probably sick of hearing that but I must say this is a pretty fucking ignorant album. The kids have been going off for the new stuff and it’s awesome to play live.”
