Winds Of Plague Announce Details For 'Never Say Die' Tour
December 16, 2009
Symphonic Blackmetalcore titans, Winds Of Plague, continue their extensive worldwide touring schedule in support of the highly acclaimed 'The Great Stone War' in 2010 with another headliner dubbed the Never Say Die! Tour. This massive, month-long trek, which kicks off on Jan. 23rd, also features labelmates Despised Icon alongside For Today, Stray From The Path and The World We Knew. Be sure to visit www.myspace.com/windsofplague to view their complete touring itinerary.

Johnny (vocals) further states: "We have just passed the halfway mark on 'The California Love' tour and already the tour has proven to be a massive success, as well as a very memorable moment in Winds Of Plague history. This has been our first sole headliner, which is nerve racking in itself, but the WOP Soldiers have been strong in numbers and have been some of the most insane shows we have played to date. It's been awesome to get back into some smaller clubs that we have played while we were coming up and re-visit our roots. This tour also marks the debut of keyboardist Alana Potocnik to the band. Alana's positive attitude and hungry work ethic is a breath of fresh air, with her talent and creative writing abilities new material will be nothing short of epic. With our return to Southern California for the December Decimation Fest still on the horizon, 'The California Love' tour will go down in our history as some of the best times of our lives and we thank our fans for making it all possible.

"We look forward to taking some time off for the holidays and then 2010 is the year of WOP. It all starts with another headliner as we prepare for the Never Say Die! Tour in January with the mighty Despised Icon, For Today and Stray From The Path. We promise you it will be a night to remember, so check out our Myspace page and be sure to come out, get sweaty and party your ass off. See you all soon."

Alex Erian
(Despised Icon vocalist) follows: "We've played some of our favourite shows ever on the last two Never Say Die tours in Europe and are stoked to be part of its first annual US edition. We haven't toured with Winds Of Plague in over 2 years already. It'll be good to hang out and rock out with those dudes again! Can't wait to be back in the U.S. See you guys soon!"

Marco Walzel of Avocado Booking comments: "We really wanted to create an exciting tour package; that is why we created and developed the Never Say Die brand. We wanted a tour that could feature the most diverse and powerful bands from all over the world under one banner. Its focus has always been about the music, the bands and the lifestyle that comes hand in hand with the more aggressive side of the punk rock and metal spectrum. It's never sought to lose touch with its core audience and we've always strived to give great value for money to some of the most mind blowing packages that we could possibly put together. It's been a big success for us, growing and growing in Europe over the past few years and we're really excited at where NSD is heading, with the new year giving way to its first overseas appearance in the USA."

Winds Of Plague
has changed the landscape of heavy music upon release of their highly acclaimed, vicious new album, 'The Great Stone War', which made an impressive debut in its first week landing at #73 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. The new offering is going to quickly propel the band to the forefront of the American metal scene and serve as a much needed wake up call to the genre.

Throwdown Set To Release 'Deathless', Prepare For Tour
November 9, 2009
Throwdown's new album 'Deathless' is being released this Tuesday on E1 Entertainment. The album, 'Deathless', follows Throwdown's most powerfully diverse offering, 'Venom & Tears', which critics hailed as the best effort from the band. Revolver Magazine has called Throwdown “the future of metal.”

Vocalist Dave Peters had the following to say about the forthcoming release:

“We're very excited to have our fans finally hear this album from start to finish. When we write and select songs for the album and then create the track listing, we make it a point to have the sequence flow in a story format, so it's always a little bittersweet when we put a "single" out before the record is actually released. We like sharing that one song but at the same time would rather fans hear it in context of the album.”

“We've been off the road for about a year, immersed in the process of making this record the best we've ever created on a songwriting and production level. Hearing it in its completed state for the first time as a band was gratifying, but finally getting to share it with the people that matter most and then play those songs live for them is really what completes the whole circle. Feels good to finally be at that point.”

Throwdown Prepares For The Deathless Tour I
September 28, 2009
Prepare for an event you don’t want to miss as Throwdown headlines The Deathless Tour I. The tour will be presented by Hatewear.

Throwdown
will be joined by Bury Your Dead, For Today, Abacabb and The World We Knew. This tour follows Throwdown's current European tour with Chimaira, Unearth and Daath.

The Deathless Tour I
is the first U.S. tour in over a year for juggernauts Throwdown and the first tour in support of the band’s new album, 'Deathless' which will be released on November 10th, 2009. 'Deathless' is produced by Mudrock and mixed by Zeuss (Hatebreed).

Throwdown
vocalist Dave Peters says, “We can't wait to hit the ground running for this record. We haven't toured the States in over a year and have been working our asses off making this album the best we've ever made on both a songwriting and production level. We're playing two songs off ‘Deathless’ on our European tour with Chimaira and Unearth right now and making sure we don't fuck them up for everyone in the States.

We're really excited to be out with our good friends in Bury Your Dead as well. We've had a lot of our fans asking for this tour over the years and we're excited to finally make it happen after so long.”

Throwdown
, tightly coiled, is squeezing the world for the kill and poised to sink their collective fangs into the backbone of American metal. Rising from the underground world of the do-it-yourself hardcore scene with a recipe made up of Pantera, Machine Head, Sepultura and early Metallica, their mission is boldly proclaimed both on the stage and on record.

The highly acclaimed band has spent the last several years touring relentlessly on shows such as Ozzfest (2004), Sounds of the Underground (2005), and the Vans Warped Tour (2006 & 2007). Previous Throwdown tours include a headlining tour with Soilwork as well as tours supporting Killswitch Engage, Lamb Of God, As I Lay Dying, Korn, Ozzfest, In Flames, Machine Head, Soulfly, Cavalera Conspiracy and more.

The upcoming album, 'Deathless', follows Throwdown's most powerfully diverse offering, 'Venom & Tears', which critics hailed as the best effort from a band. Revolver Magazine has called Throwdown “the future of metal.”

Biography
YEAR FORMED: 2004
HOME TOWN: Long Island, NY
MEMBERS:
Frank - Vocals
Ryan - Guitar
Ed - Bass
Shane - Drums
Tim - Guitar

Hailing from Long Island, New York, THE WORLD WE KNEW is a five piece straight edge metal outfit that is committed to bring innovative and exhilarating material to a stagnant genre of music. Since their early development in September 2004 the band has gone through several line-up changes and eventually hit the road in 2006.

Within a couple years (and vans) and a now solidified line-up, their appetite for success and doing what they love is clearly demonstrated through their relentless touring. During this time, their skills and their devoted following have escalated drastically catching the attention of North Carolina's Seventh Dagger Records whom they would later sign with in early 2007 and release their 1st full length "Exordium" in September 2007. Unfortunately; however, their luck came to a halt in a recent accident destroying their equipment, their trailer, and severely damaging their van while on tour. The World We Knew on the other hand, walked away without a scratch, but rather a new found determination.

With TWWK's unyielding touring history and exceptional musicianship, they have truly proven to their fans and themselves that this is only the beginning of the great heights they are prepared to rise above and beyond.
