Scott Vogel (vocals) recently spoke with Alternative Press in regards to their storied history, Century Media debut album, the nature of contractual agreements and lyric cribbing. Check out the very candid and in-depth interview now at www.altpress.com

Vogel also recently contributed a blog entry to MTV’s Headbangers Ball Blog which focuses specifically on the state of music and hardcore today and how times change. Check that out at this location.

Terror Announces Massive North American Headlining Tour
June 5, 2008
The tireless and tour-hungry hardcore loyalists in LA’s Terror, spearheaded by the endless enthusiasm of frontman Scott Vogel, continues to be one with the underdogs and prove that they are never alone, as a rabid North American audience is currently chomping at the bit preparing for the group first headlining tour in almost two years. These hardcore veterans are determined to show that they have what it takes to play anywhere and everywhere as they plan on embarking on a massive seven-week trek. The tour kicks off on July 17th and also features The Warriors, Death Before Dishonor, CDC and Trapped Under Ice.

This tour is the first U.S. run in support of their critically acclaimed new album, 'The Damned, The Shamed', which is set for a June 10th release. The album was produced by Zeuss (Hatebreed, Shadows Fall). For a sneak peak at the insanity that awaits, head over to Terror's Official Myspace Page now to stream the new track “Let Me Sink” and to view their complete touring schedule.

Vogel comments: “After many overseas tours and U.S. supporting slots, we are very hyped to finally headline again with some bands we really love and with a brand-new record just hitting streets. We put together a package of bands that are somewhat diverse but still all coming from the same place as us for the same cause. The plan is to play a lot of old stuff but definitely some new ones as well. We love the new record and need to bust it out. In South America we were playing a 16-song set, and we’ll build on that for sure. This tour is all North America, and we can’t wait. Hope to see you all soon.”

All Shall Perish Post Studio Video Update Online
May 10, 2008
Bay Area melodic death-thrash titans All Shall Perish have posted the first video studio update online. The Pre-production diary video, which will apparently be the first of several, can be viewed below.

The band have been holed up at Castle Ultimate Studios since early April, working with producer/engineer Zack Ohren (Decrepit Birth, Odious Mortem, Light This City, Embrace The End) on their as yet untitled third studio album. The album is slated for release in September, via Nuclear Blast Records.

All Shall Perish will be hitting the road this summer as part of the "Sun Your Bunz" tour, alongside headliners The Acacia Strain. Support will come from The Warriors (May 30th – June 13th), Eternal Lord (June 13th – 29th) and Since The Flood.

Drummer Matt Kuykendall commented on being in a yet another cramped space with the same sweaty dudes for another month: "This fucking tour is going to crush! We love The Acacia Strain’s music and the great dudes in the band. The Warriors are added to half the tour as well, so its not only gonna be a mosh nightmare but an awesome time with old friends. We are also going to debut around three new songs so we cant wait! Since The Flood has always been awesome hardcore and now with Nate Johnson singing for them they are going to be insane. We get to meet a bunch of Australians in Eternal Lord, who are pretty much the nicest people on the planet! It’s gonna be a great tour. See you in the pit!"

Biography
HOME TOWN: Tehachapi, CA
MEMBERS:
Marshall Lichtenwaldt (vocals)
Danny Phillips (guitar)
Javier Zarate (guitar)
Mike Preisendorfer (bass)
Donny Phillips (drums)

Tehachapi California cannot be found on most maps. The towns population redefines the notion of the one horse status. Tehachapi is a dark secret, hidden by a veneer fog and oak trees. This strange land breeds zombie like drug addicts, teenage mothers and hate. Five teenagers formed The Warriors coincidentally the high school mascot to wage war against the bane of Tehachapi and all of its constituents. Marshall Lichtenwaldt, Mike Preisendorfer, Javier Zarate, and Donny & Danny Phillips performed in and around their native homeland with the only intention of providing an alternative recreation to the gratuitous drug use and teenage pregnancy that plagued their youth culture. Their blend of Early 90s Hardcore with a new school attitude spawns from their primary influences of Inside Out, Refused, Cro-Mags, and Sick Of It All. A seven inch was recorded and released on Straight On Records in the year 2003. The Warriors were then able to deliver their music to a world-wide audience. The seven inch was later re-released on a split CD courtesy of Straight On Records. The twilight of 03 saw a new professional drive behind their music. With an non-stop show schedule and more mature sound The Warriors rapidly gained the credibility and respect of their peers. The Warriors are passionate about the perseverance of Hardcore music and attempt to resurrect the aspects that have fallen to the wayside in the past decade. They provide furious music for furious times. Theres no salvation for a world gone mad, upon which the Warriors wage war.
