Julian Parker - Bass
Jared Sloan - Keys/Synth

Formed in late 2003 The Breathing Process began its journey out of central Connecticut.

In the beginning guitarist Jordan Milner and original drummer Dan Jones set out to compose grindy yet melodic death metal with devastatingly heavy breakdowns. With the aid of vocalist John LaFreniere, bassist Nick Burns and guitarist Patrick Allers they soon had enough material to hit the road.

Returning home from tour bassist Nick Burns decided to part ways with the band setting in motion several changes in bassists before acquiring John Vaina. Stronger then ever The Breathing Process was able to continue their act on the road. After touring nationwide for nearly two years in support of their first release Dialogue Analysis for the Heartless (youth and noise records) the band exhibited signs of growth due to member changes yet again. As time passed the group worked with fill-in musicians such as Nick Robinson (Arsonata), and Ted Stepnik (Shallow Water Grave/Dawn of Aries),Madison Roseberry (The Recovery Room), before finding Dan Renna who was able to restore the loss of guitarist Patrick Allers.

Soon after drummer Dan Jones would leave TBP ultimately being replaced by Chris Sansone. Now with Chris on drums and the addition of a third guitarist, Ian van Opijnen, they began shaping the band into what it is today in 2006. With epic songs like "Inferno" and "Marionette" their metal stylings have been considered by many to have embodied all aspects of metal from tech-metal to black metal and European melodies to mosh.

The Breathing Process makes music for musicians and music lovers alike. They have developed a sound that truly captures the minds and hearts of the fans. Influenced by music of all genres, the assembled artists of TBP progress in skill and creativity while retaining the heart of the music. For fans of Kill Switch engage, Meshuggah, As I Lay Dying, and any form of extreme music.
