Silent Civilian Announce Fall U.S. Headline Tour
July 2, 2010
Silent Civilian are extremely excited to partner with Revolver Magazine to present their massive fall headlining run dubbed the "Haunting The Masses Tour" with The Autumn Offering and Destrophy as support. The trek marks the group's first official headliner in support of their highly acclaimed new album, 'Ghost Stories'. Stay tuned to www.myspace.com/silentcivilian as their complete tour itinerary should be announced in the coming weeks, along with loads of hilarious behind-the-scenes video footage from their recent Fear Factory tour.

Jonny Santos
(vocals, guitars) further comments: "I want to say that the 'Fear Campaign' tour was amazing! I am very proud and privileged to have been part of such an amazing metal tour. I want to thank Dino, Burt, Gene and Byron for allowing us to be on the tour. It was absolutely an amazing experience. I've had the pleasure of touring with FF in the past several times, and they never disappoint. I also want to thank all of the Prong guys for being super cool and amazing every night, as well as our very new, good friends in Thy Will Be Done. Those guys are awesome and heavy as balls. We had the pleasure of supporting All That Remains for five dates of this tour and that was just as amazing. They are some of the most genuine people I've ever had the pleasure of sharing the stage with. Plus we got fuckin' hammered with them every night. They know how to party. I really want to thank all of the fans for coming out to support ALL of the bands. You guys make it possible for metal to continue on. Overall, the tour was a complete success and will have a place in my heart forever.

I am also very pleased to announce the 'Haunting The Masses' tour. It will be featuring Silent Civilian with The Autumn Offering and Destrophy as support. I am looking forward to this tour as I feel it is a good solid package in the sense that there is something there for all metal heads. It will be a full North American tour starting on Aug 27th in Phoenix and wrapping up in Los Angeles on Sept. 29th. It is going to hit every major U.S. market as well as many secondary markets. Tourdates will be posted soon. Also, due to the high ticket prices of festival tours this summer, we will be keeping the ticket price for this tour under 20 dollars. We want the people who can't afford to spend 75 bucks for a lawn ticket to be able to go see a good metal show this summer. LOW DOUGH! Plus, there will be many giveaways on the tour, such as a signed guitar by all of the bands, meet and greets with the bands and giveaways from the tour sponsors. Please check our MySpace page daily for tour dates, as they will be added every day.

"Silent Civilian will also be shooting a video for 'Atonement' within the next two weeks in Los Angeles with acclaimed director Scott Hansen (A Day To Remember, Alesana, Carnifex) who also directed our last video for 'The Last One Standing'.

"Well, I think that about covers everything for right now, so I want to thank our fans for their undying support and we can't wait to see you guys on the road."

Threat Signal
has just kicked off a headlining tour with The Agonist, Flatline and Thy Will Be Done. Dubbed the "Road to Revision", the run will be followed by another headlining trek this July with The Autumn Offering, The Agonist and Sybreed. During this tour, Threat Signal will be debuting material from 'Vigilance'.

Commented vocalist Jon Howard: "This tour is really special to us because we will be debuting five songs from our new album within an hour-long performance. I'm really excited to see how the fans react to the new material. It's a very solid tour package with The Agonist, Flatline, and Thy Will Be Done, so the show is strong from beginning to end. This will be a heavy, brutal tour with lots of drinks and good times! We'll have our camera rolling for a DVD so put on your metal face and come rock out."

In a recent interview with Spine Language blog, Jon Howard stated about Threat Signal's decision to play new, as-yet-unreleased material as part of the band's current live performance, "We feel that we've been playing the same show for too long. We've been playing songs from 'Under Reprisal' for almost five years! The reactions have been amazing so far. Sometimes it feels as if they know the songs already! So with that said we have totally broken the rule. We are playing five songs from the new album, 'Vigilance', and six from 'Under Reprisal'. So you get a good blend of new and old. I think people are craving new shit, so even if they do stand and nod their head, I don't care, I know they are just taking it all in!!"

Biography
YEAR FORMED: 1999
HOME TOWN: Daytona Beach, FL
MEMBERS:
Matt McChesney - Vocals
Tommy Church - Guitar
Matt Johnson - Guitar
Sean Robbins - Bass
Allan Royal - Drums

Well known as the birthplace of NASCAR and home of beautiful beaches, Daytona Beach also hosts a fertile metal and hardcore scene. The Autumn Offering emerged when its members were still in their teens; inspired by thrash metal and southern rock, they devoted every waking moment to creating their own lethal brew. Revelations of the Unsung is The Autumn Offerings debut full length album which was originally released in January of 2004. The band caught the attention of Victory Records, who signed them in the fall of 2005 and opted to re-release Revelations of the Unsung, giving it the push it deserves. The band presents ten bone crushing tracks, combining the brutal riffs of In Flames and Slayer with the southern edge of Pantera. Revelations Of The Unsung was produced by the legendary Zeuss (Hatebreed, Staind, Shadows Fall) and Jamey Jasta (of Hatebreed and MTV2s Headbangers Ball), and introduced thousands to the talent and inescapable force of The Autumn Offering. When The Autumn Offering started in 1999, the airwaves were full of bands like Blink 182 and fellow Floridians New Found Glory. High school freshman Sean Robbins was completely alienated by this trend, and decided to start a band that would express a different side of things. He explains, It seemed like everyone was diving into this pop punk that was sweeping the nation we just couldnt buy into the idea of plastic heartache with a hookline. We wanted to take all of lifes frustrations and the overall feeling of hopelessness and turn it into something that could be a hard-hitting force. Influenced by a wide range of music, both past and present, the band began perfecting their sound, which has been described as being an aggressive blend of groove-stocked heavy metal and melody-rich rock & roll. Since that year, The Autumn Offering has come a long way. After two years of constant rehearsing and regional playing, in 2001 the band embarked on their first full US east coast tour. After two more self-booked tours and more regional playing, the band caught the attention of Hatebreed front man Jamey Jasta, who signed the band to his Stillborn Records in 2003. The group immediately entered into Planet-Z studios alongside engineer Zeuss (Hatebreed, Shadows Fall, Staind) and producer Jasta. Heavy yet catchy, the record is a confident, explosive statement for a freshman recording, called, one of the rare encouraging records in a genre otherwise swamped by formula and clich, by The UCD Advocate. The Autumn Offering became friends with All That Remains on tour, staying with bassist Matt Deis while recording and inviting singer Phil Labonte to contribute to one of the albums highlights, Homecoming. As Revelations of the Unsung hits stores, The Autumn Offering will be entering Audiohammer Studios with Jason Suecof (God Forbid, Trivium) to record their next album, scheduled to street in May 2006. Look for them on the road immediately following the albums completion; having the privilege of sharing the stage with such acts as Slipknot, Slayer, Hatebreed, Shadows Fall, Mastodon, Killswitch Engage, God Forbid and Agnostic Front left The Autumn Offering a well oiled rock machine, ready to roll. Their live performances seethe with belligerence and aggression, perfectly framing their apocalyptic lyrics. Straight out of Florida, The Autumn Offering have capitalized on raw talent and unrelenting hard work to break out of the local scene they are ready to make their mark on the metal world.
