The Acacia Strain Announce Fall Headline Tour
August 31, 2010

The Acacia Strain are extremely excited to head out with some of today's top metal and hardcore acts out in support of their newest record on Prosthetic Records. In typical The Acacia Strain fashion, the guys plan to bring the fun each night by hanging out at their merch table thirty minutes after doors to meet the fans and socialize. There will be a special tee shirt available for purchase only during this time in addition to all their new tour merchandise. If you are in the Holyoke, MA area on the 20th of November, be sure to come out to the Waterfront Tavern as this show will be a benefit for a dear friend of the band who recently passed away due to a decade long battle with cancer.

Terror To Kick Off 2010 As Part Of 'Mosh Lives II Tour'
December 22, 2009
The tireless and tour-hungry hardcore loyalists in LA's Terror, spearheaded by the endless enthusiasm of frontman Scott Vogel, have earned quite a reputation since forming at the turn of the millennium. Their melding of no-frills breakneck hardcore and the fervor of new generation metal bridges the gap between young and old, and it makes for one hell of a pit no matter what city or stage the band leaves in ruin. Vogel has been a key figure in the scene's survival, having given up a normal home life to slug it out on the road despite broken limbs, slipped discs and everything else that comes with hosting a Terror show.

This past year saw Terror tour relentlessly across the world a number of times over in support of their highly acclaimed latest album, 'The Damned, The Shamed', and will kick off the New Year with a massive North American run, dubbed "The Mosh Lives II Tour" with Emmure, After The Burial, Miss May I and Thick As Blood. The trek kicks off on Jan. 22nd and be sure to head over to www.myspace.com/terror for all current tourdates and news.

Vogel
further states: "It's crazy to think that at this point Terror has been around for about eight years. I guess after this year we have been around the world four times, recently adding Hawaii and Southeast Asia to the places we've played. The Atticus tour and the 10 For $10 tour were really wonderful, letting us clearly know that the U.S. is still solidly behind us. We are finishing up the year writing for our new LP 'Keepers Of The Faith'. I guess we kind of are a real band at this point as we prepare for our fifth album. Emmure is taking us out again in January and then off to Europe with Madball, Death Before Dishonor and Cruel Hand. Life's good. The true believers remain."

If anything, Terror's goal is to bring back the good natured release of circle pits and stage dives as well as the finger-pointing anthems that were once integral to the hardcore scene.

Terror Post New Video Online, Check In From The Road
March 19, 2009
The tireless and tour-hungry hardcore loyalists in LA’s Terror, spearheaded by the endless enthusiasm of frontman Scott Vogel, are currently annihilating crowds across North America on “The Atticus Metal Tour,” which is sponsored by Atticus Clothing in association with Hot Topic, Hails & Horns Magazine, Randall, Washburn and Direct Lines. The trek, which kicked off on March 12th also features labelmates Winds of Plague, Emmure, All Shall Perish, The Ghost Inside and special guests on select dates, Shai Hulud, Underneath The Gun and ABACABB. For more information on the tour, special announcements, and exclusive opportunities to win rare Atticus Metal gear, get involved at www.myspace.com/atticusmetaltour.

Terror and MySpace Metal have teamed up to launch the group’s new live video for the track, “Rise of The Poisoned Youth,” which is live at www.myspace.com/metal. Vogel further states: This video was shot in Curitiba, Brazil. Our friend Marcos really hooked up the whole thing. He booked a great show, in a great venue, for this sort of vibe. Kids came out and went crazy. The energy was captured perfectly. He also shot extra footage in an underground boxing club. We felt this fit in well with the lyrics and visual of the song.

“The Atticus tour is honestly perfect and a lot of our family have been coming out to the shows and really setting the tone. We are playing to so many new faces, which have been telling us they never have seen a show like ours before. Everything is smooth and cool. We hope to see you all soon.”

Terror have earned quite a reputation since forming at the turn of the millennium. Their melding of no-frills breakneck hardcore and the fervor of new generation metal bridges the gap between young and old, and it makes for one hell of a pit no matter what city or stage the band leaves in ruin. Vogel has been a key figure in the scene’s survival, having given up a normal home life to slug it out on the road despite broken limbs, slipped discs and everything else that comes with hosting a Terror show.

Terror's third full-length, 'The Damned, The Shamed', is a vicious slab of brutality produced by the renowned Zeuss (Hatebreed, Shadows Fall) and is sure to please the band’s diehard fanbase, while garnering a new legion of young maniacal supporters. If anything, Terror's goal is to bring back the good natured release of circle pits and stage dives as well as the finger-pointing anthems that were once integral to the hardcore scene.

Biography
MEMBERS:
Scott Vogel (vocals)
Doug Weber (guitar)
Franc Novinec (guitar)
Carl Schwartz (bass)
Nick Jett (drums)

Quite possibly the most uncompromising band in hardcore, Terror is ready to unleash the follow up to their advantageous debut, "Lowest Of The Low". Recently inking a deal with long time allies Trustkill Records, Terror's "One With The Underdogs" is poised to be one of the most anticipated albums of 2004.Ignoring current musical trends Terror has assiduously carved themselves a path in the hardcore scene. Absent of cheesy gimmicks or fly by night trends, Terror has taken the ethics and straightforward guitar assault of old school veterans like "The Cro-Mags" and "Agnostic Front" and effortlessly added their rapid fire drum lines and trademark double fisted vocal attack from front man, Scott Vogel. The band's resurgence of old school hardcore has helped to breathe life to a stagnant genre.Terror has helped bring a sense of unity back by teaming up with some of the most notorious names in hardcore. Freddy Cricien of Madball/Hazen St., Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed and Lord Ezac all lend their glass gargled screams to "One With The Underdogs"."One With The Underdogs" is Terror's statement and F- you to the world. Never backing down on their ideals or changing their style; Terror is coming back with more of their patented sing-a-longs and circle pits. The band's recent signing with the prevalent independent label, Trustkill Records was a natural choice after over a decade of camaraderie. The band felt that Trustkill's extensive presence in the music scene was the building block they were missing.Terror has never wasted a single moment. Before the band even had their debut album released they had finished two US tours and a Canadian Tour opening up for future label mates, "Eighteen Visions" and "Throwdown." Their no holds barred attitude has built the band an unequaled following that show no signs of limitation.Beginning May 11th Terror will hit the road with the MADE Clothing tour featuring "Stretch Armstrong" and "Between the Buried and Me." Followed up with a full European tour hitting all the major fests including Pressure Fest and With Full Force Fest in Germany and Dour Festival in Belgium. They will also be seen as one of this year's main stage acts on Hellfest 2004. Terror has proven in the past two years that they are an irrefutable force that cannot be ignored. Look for "One With The Underdogs " due out on Trustkill Records in August of 2004.
