Skinless Announce Classic Line Up Reunion Show
April 15, 2010
Skinless' classic line-up of Sherwood Webber (vocals), Noah Carpenter (guitars), Joe Keyser (bass), and Bob Beaulac (drums) will re-unite for a special one-off show on June 19th at Northern Lights in Clifton Park, NY. This is the line-up featured on the band's 'Progression Towards Evil' and 'Foreshadowing Our Demise' albums. Co-headlining this show will be Burning Human, featuring Jason Bittner of Shadows Fall, with tickets for the event going on sale tomorrow, April 16th. For more information, please visit www.NorthernLightsLive.com and www.StepUpPresents.com.

"I don't know exactly how it came about or where it's going but Skinless will be playing a killer show with the classic lineup...," commented Webber, "I don't know how to describe the Upstate, New York scene accurately to the outsider but those who lived it know exactly what I'm talking about. Any of the NYHC and death metal bands can tell you how insane the scene was in the late '90s. Troy-core, death metal, hardcore, straight edge bands -- all friends, all purveyors of different styles with the common ground of the scene. Ted Etoll [Step Up Presents] was largely responsible for promoting and developing tons of bands and Skinless was one of them. He's been a long time friend, mentor and brother and I look forward to the show with huge excitement. It's going to rule. I'm also exited to rejoin my Skinless brothers for a show with our long time friends Burning Human. The Upstate Scene is like no other on the planet and to return for a sick show like this is a dream come true! Definitely some cataclysmic metal events on the horizon!"

Skinless released their latest album, 'Trample The Weak, Hurdle The Dead' in 2006. Audio samples taken from the release can be heard via the band's official Myspace page. Webber, who currently resides in Colorado, has been hard at work with his new band Enemy Reign (www.EnemyReign.com). Carpenter is also involved in a new project called Armor Column (www.myspace.com/armorcolumnny).

Updated Skinless news / tour information will be made available via www.relapse.com and the Skinless Myspace page at www.myspace.com/skinless.

Immolation To Kick Off Tour With Suffocation
October 25, 2007
Legendary death metal titans Immolation kick off a massive a month-long North American tour this week with Suffocation and Skinless, which marks their first stateside trek in three years. Returning with the same lineup as their previous release, 'Harnessing Ruin', dubbed “the most skull-crushing of their entire necro-rompin’ career” by Revolver Magazine, the group finds itself uncharacteristically stable, allowing for chemistry not present in their formative years. Founding members Dolan and Robert Vigna (guitar) join Bill Taylor (guitar) and Steve Shalaty (drums) to form the group’s most consistently punishing lineup yet.

Robert Vigna (guitars) further describes his excitement over the upcoming tour: “We are really looking forward to this Suffocation tour. We haven't been out in the states for a while now and we can't wait! I think the lineup is really strong and the fact that it's composed off all NY bands is something special that the kids have been waiting for. All the bands have their own style, so it's going to be a great extreme show!

“We are going to try and fit in as much classic material, as well as new stuff into our set. With each album it gets harder and harder to get a set list together, but I think we chose some really good tunes for the tour. We have enough different tracks down to alternate from night to night, which is what we plan to do, so things will be a little different each show. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there and prepare for one intense night of extreme metal.”

Immolation's seventh chapter in their legendary career, 'Shadows in the Light', was recorded at Millbrook Sound Studios with producer Paul Orofino. The video for the track, “World Agony,” was recently posted on their official MySpace page.

Immolation Post New Video, Announce Tour Dates
May 10, 2007
Improving upon the foundation of technical, neck-snapping death metal they helped build beginning in the late 1980s, Immolation unleashes the seventh chapter in their legendary career, 'Shadows in the Light'. The stunning new effort was recorded at Millbrook Sound Studios with producer Paul Orofino and is now available. The new video for the track, “World Agony,” was recently posted on their official MySpace page.

Immolation will also team up with Suffocation and Skinless for a month-long North American tour this fall.

Robert Vigna (guitars) further describes the new album: "It's aggressive, emotional and haunting. The disc delivers all of Immolation's attributes, as it's catchy as hell, very direct and to the point. The album devastates on all levels, from blasting madness and militant charges to sorrow-filled doom and depression. It is a very complete record with soulful solos, thunderous raging drums and vocals that lash right out at you!"

Along with bands like Suffocation, Incantation and Mortician, Immolation are one of the all important forefathers of New York death metal. Over the years, Immolation has always increased the stakes on each release and this new effort is no exception. It encompasses all the band's growth over the years and offers some of their most devastating material yet. Not only has the band developed their musical capabilities over the years, but they've also become one of the most intense live acts in the industry. Powerful, yet emotional, Immolation are a force to be reckoned with.

Biography
YEAR FORMED: 1992
MEMBERS:
Noah Carpenter (guitars)
Sherwood Webber (vocals)
Bob Beaulac (drums)
Joe Keyser (bass)

Skinless exploded onto the face of humanity in 1992. Despite a variety of lineup changes, the songwriting team of Noah Carpenter (guitars) and Sherwood Webber (vocals) has remained constant since 1994. After adding the talents of Bob Beaulac (drums) and Joe Keyser (bass) SKINLESS established a solid, dedicated line-up, recorded two demos and appeared on numerous compilations. In 1998, SKINLESS released their full-length debut Progression Towards Evil. Recorded at Max Trax Studios in Albany, NY Progression... stunned the underground, showcasing the musicianship and energy that the band had become known for via its intense live performances. The album blazed a trail of brutality around the globe leaving fans of death/grind devastated, and searching for more. An entirely independent release, Progression... received frenzied acclaim from press the world over and saw remarkable sales. An influential mainstay of today’s underground, SKINLESS has embarked on extensive touring and made appearances at all the major metal festivals in the last few years, earning the band a reputation as one of the hardest working and most intense acts in metal. SKINLESS has embarked on three immensely successful tours in support of Progression..., introducing legions of fans to the punishing live SKINLESS experience. The band toured the U.S. with underground legends MORTICIAN on 1999’s Chainsaw Tour, and in the Spring of 2000, SKINLESS toured the U.S. and Mexico with INCANTATION, spawning even more followers of the brutal underground revolution. SKINLESS’ recent European headlining tour solidified the bands reputation as one of the most energetic and powerful live acts in the world. On their Relapse debut Foreshadowing Our Demise, SKINLESS paint violent atmospheres of devastation. Foreshadowing Our Demise sonically documents the endless energy of the band’s burly live performances, delivering an annihilating combo of high-tension grooves and ultimate brutality. SKINLESS administer gut-twisting deathgrind that deluges the listener with colossal riffs, chaotic percussion and an unearthly vocal attack. On the topic of Foreshadowing Our Demise the band describes new material: "It’s beyond anything we’ve done before," says vocalist, S.Webber. "It’s faster but with the same characteristic SKINLESS groves and violent atmosphere. The lyrics are dark, somewhat sarcastic, and extremely nihilistic. To spare all the adjectives it’s chaotic and just fucking punishing!!!" SKINLESS will tour as much as possible in 2001, so stay alert because the band is coming to a venue dangerously close to you! Explosive, punishing and nihilistic, SKINLESS have cemented their stance as forerunners of the extreme music movement.
