Silent Civilian Announce Fall U.S. Headline Tour
July 2, 2010
Silent Civilian are extremely excited to partner with Revolver Magazine to present their massive fall headlining run dubbed the "Haunting The Masses Tour" with The Autumn Offering and Destrophy as support. The trek marks the group's first official headliner in support of their highly acclaimed new album, 'Ghost Stories'. Stay tuned to www.myspace.com/silentcivilian as their complete tour itinerary should be announced in the coming weeks, along with loads of hilarious behind-the-scenes video footage from their recent Fear Factory tour.

Jonny Santos
(vocals, guitars) further comments: "I want to say that the 'Fear Campaign' tour was amazing! I am very proud and privileged to have been part of such an amazing metal tour. I want to thank Dino, Burt, Gene and Byron for allowing us to be on the tour. It was absolutely an amazing experience. I've had the pleasure of touring with FF in the past several times, and they never disappoint. I also want to thank all of the Prong guys for being super cool and amazing every night, as well as our very new, good friends in Thy Will Be Done. Those guys are awesome and heavy as balls. We had the pleasure of supporting All That Remains for five dates of this tour and that was just as amazing. They are some of the most genuine people I've ever had the pleasure of sharing the stage with. Plus we got fuckin' hammered with them every night. They know how to party. I really want to thank all of the fans for coming out to support ALL of the bands. You guys make it possible for metal to continue on. Overall, the tour was a complete success and will have a place in my heart forever.

I am also very pleased to announce the 'Haunting The Masses' tour. It will be featuring Silent Civilian with The Autumn Offering and Destrophy as support. I am looking forward to this tour as I feel it is a good solid package in the sense that there is something there for all metal heads. It will be a full North American tour starting on Aug 27th in Phoenix and wrapping up in Los Angeles on Sept. 29th. It is going to hit every major U.S. market as well as many secondary markets. Tourdates will be posted soon. Also, due to the high ticket prices of festival tours this summer, we will be keeping the ticket price for this tour under 20 dollars. We want the people who can't afford to spend 75 bucks for a lawn ticket to be able to go see a good metal show this summer. LOW DOUGH! Plus, there will be many giveaways on the tour, such as a signed guitar by all of the bands, meet and greets with the bands and giveaways from the tour sponsors. Please check our MySpace page daily for tour dates, as they will be added every day.

"Silent Civilian will also be shooting a video for 'Atonement' within the next two weeks in Los Angeles with acclaimed director Scott Hansen (A Day To Remember, Alesana, Carnifex) who also directed our last video for 'The Last One Standing'.

"Well, I think that about covers everything for right now, so I want to thank our fans for their undying support and we can't wait to see you guys on the road."

Thy Will Be Done Frontman Comments On Fear Factory Tour
May 21, 2010
After a successful winter tour that they were personally invited to perform on by Dez Fafara of DevilDriver, Providence Rhode Island's Thy Will Be Done are now out on the road with Fear Factory, Prong, and Silent Civilian. The Fear Campaign Tour is set to tear across the US throughout the rest of May and the first half of June. Special guests All That Remains will join up with the tour on June 8th. No strangers to the road, Thy Will Be Done have been touring non-stop since the release of their 2007 debut album 'Was And Is To Come'.

Front man J. Costa had the following to say about the current tour:
"We're genuine fans of music first and foremost, so it's still a bit surreal to be a part of a tour with Fear Factory whom not only is highly influential to Thy Will Be Done but so many other bands! I hear FF in SO many bands and for whatever reason, in my opinion, not enough people site them as being as HIGHLY influential and groundbreaking as they are.

The same is also felt about Prong! We owe so much to them for helping pave the way. We're also glad to be out here with SIlent Civilian. They're solid musicians and people and Jonny's got some serious pipes. So, as music fans and musicians, we're super humbled and appreciative to be on this run."

Their 2009 follow-up effort, 'In Ancient of Days', was released June 30 again through Stillborn Records and produced, engineered and mixed by Zeuss with Jamey Jasta as executive producer. The European release features the bonus track "Mystery, Her Name". An exclusive alternate version of the album is also available in the US through retailer Hot Topic which features the track "Becoming the Way".

Thy Will Be Done
has been seen on tour with or supporting Machine Head, Lamb of God, DevilDriver, Amon Amarth, Crowbar, Arch Enemy, Hatebreed, Five Finger Death Punch, Kingdom of Sorrow and Type O Negative just to name a few.

Jonny Santos
(vocals, guitars) further comments: "I am very excited to be a part of this tour. Not only has FF been one of my all-time favorite bands, but they have been like family to me over the years, especially Dino. He is like my metal Dad, and had a lot to do with the start of my career back in the early SS days. He gave me my first U.S. and European tours and basically taught me how to survive on the road, as well as proper tour etiquette. This tour couldn't have come to us at a better time, since our record comes out 5/18 and the tour starts two days before that. It will allow us to sell the record at our merch booth and give the fans an opportunity to meet the band and get a CD signed.

"We have always been a band that tries to stay close to our fans and interact with them as much as possible. I also feel that this tour will open us up to a lot of fans who have never heard of us and push the SC name out there a little more. I have to say I'm just as excited to tour with Prong. I was a huge fan of them as well when I was a kid. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone in Thy Will Be Done and predicting this tour to be an all around success! We are going to play a lot of new material live, and plan on crushing the fans every night. This is gonna be one brutal fucking tour, and I am very honored to be a part of the 'Fear Campaign.' I will see all you guys out there on the road."

Silent Civilian
stormed onto the metal scene with their stunning debut offering, 'Rebirth of The Temple', in 2006 led by Spineshank vocalist Jonny Santos, who used this platform to unleash all of his inner demons. This was an extremely aggressive outing that took the scene by storm and its follow-up looks to take everything to the next level. This is the new wave of melodic thrash metal.

Silent Civilian Post New Track Online
March 11, 2010
Brutal, intense, uncompromising and unrelenting are just a few words that one will use to describe the vicious new Silent Civilian album, Ghost Stories. This highly anticipated new album is set for a May 18th release and the band has teamed up exclusively with Revolver Magazine to present the worldwide debut of the track "Atonement." Check it at this location.

Jonny Santos
(vocals) further describes the meaning behind the track: "The song 'Atonement' is basically about being cast away by someone you respect, love and hold in high regards. Lost loyalty, yet still holding on to what was once true. I was lyrically inspired by someone whom I loved and adored, but whom was too swayed by the next door neighbor's lawn instead of watering their own. People need to think twice before making decisions they will regret for years to come. We play the song live and it has been met with nothing but praise. It's a combination of tragedy and violence. It differs from the rest of the album in the sense of being more of melodic, yet shows how the band has grown adhering to no boundaries. This is atonement."

Brutal, intense, uncompromising and unrelenting are just a few words that one will use to describe the vicious new SILENT CIVILIAN album, which is set for an early 2010 release. Santos further states: “Getting back into the studio to record the 2nd SILENT CIVILIAN record is very exciting. I felt that the first record was a success and feel very fortunate to be able to do it again. It has been a few years of hard touring and after a much needed vacation the batteries are charged and we are back in full force. Tracking a record like this is not an easy task and I will never get used to the endless hours of what goes into making one, but the magic that happens during the process is amazing. I believe that as much as you prepare for a record, a good 50% of what makes that record so special, happens in the studio. SILENT CIVILIAN has finally come of age in my eyes, stepping out from behind the shadow of my other band Spineshank. It is now perceived as its own entity by our fans and not seen as merely a ‘side project.’ The delay of this record was also due to my reunion with Spineshank, so needless to say, I have been super busy.

“Musically, this record is very different from the last, but evolution is the key to longevity in my eyes. I believe we are making a record that will retain what is the main essence of SC, but maturing greatly pushing forward. Having another guitar player contribute more to this record as opposed to the last, in which I wrote 90% of the music, is a plus. This record is also much more violent than the last and will be less produced in the sense that I am really trying to capture the elements of a ‘live’ thrash metal band on tape. There is not much room to breathe with this one, and I want to sonically beat the shit out of the listener without losing their interest. Dynamically, it will be a roller coaster of beatings and abuse! Don't get me wrong, we will still have very melodic moments as well, because melody has always been a strong part of metal. I am going with a lot of very traditional thrash metal riffs, because I don't really listen to very many newer bands out of fear that I will be influenced into sounding like the band of the week. I would rather be influenced by the bands that pioneered this genre of music (Testament, Exodus, Kreator, Death Angel (my favorite), Forbidden, etc) I promise that this new SILENT CIVILAN album is going to rip your fucking face off.
