Strike Anywhere
is preparing to unleash the Bridge Nine debut full-length to the world on the October 6th. Titled 'Iron Front', the album was produced by Brian McTernan and is a follow up to the critically-acclaimed Fat Wreck release 'Dead FM'. Vocalist Thomas Barnett comments on the new material, boldly stating it to be “the most bombastic, live-feeling, devastating songs we’ve ever recorded.” In true Strike Anywhere fashion, the band is spending the remainder of 2009 on the road. Beginning with the B9 tour, Strike proudly shares the stage with label-mates Polar Bear Club, Crime In Stereo and Ruiner, before heading to Europe and eventually canvassing the globe throughout the remainder of 2009 into 2010.

Strike Anywhere Launch Pre-Orders, Prepare To Hit The Road
September 22, 2009
Strike Anywhere has officially launched 'Iron Front' pre-orders at www.B9Store.com. With several pre-order packages available with an exclusive t-shirt, ordering direct from Bridge Nine is the only way to get your copy of 'Iron Front' before street date.

Recorded by Brian McTernan at Salad Days in Baltimore, 'Iron Front' packs the intensity and ferocity that Strike Anywhere has become known for. Vocalist Thomas Barnett went on to say, “The production aesthetic was relentless and magnetic and the songs were organized to build a narrative of impressions - the aggressive coupled with the hopeful. None of the cleaner, more translucent, sonic moments that were present on 'Dead FM' seemed relevant to the trajectory of this record. It was the quickest and easiest recording we've ever done.”

Strike Anywhere is undoubtedly one of the most influential melodic hardcore bands of our time. With release of their Bridge Nine Records debut, 'Iron Front', on October 6th, 2009, the momentum in Strike Anywhere’s career is just as strong as ever.

Ruiner Stream Entire New Album 'Hell Is Empty' Online
September 22, 2009
“I learned the value in wanting nothing because then no one can take anything from you.” As these lyrics from the song “Dead Weight” are screamed by vocalist Rob Sullivan, the listener has a good taste of the emphatic bleakness he or she is about to experience throughout Ruiner’s new album, 'Hell Is Empty'. This new album, in stores today (September 22nd, 2009), is streaming now in its entirety at www.Punknews.org - head over now and check it out!

'Hell Is Empty' showcases Ruiner at their finest – capturing the sound of modern hardcore, punk, and straight-up rock as the band dabbles in more diverse vocal patterns and songwriting that will produce just as many stage dives and singalongs that the band has become known for. Lyrically, Ruiner touches on personal sentiments such as disillusion with the world, desolation, lost love, self-loathing and disappointment. One of the most sonically and emotionally punishing records of the year, Ruiner has truly found their sound on 'Hell Is Empty'.

Ruiner is getting ready to hit the road alongside their buds in Strike Anywhere this fall on the first ever Bridge Nine Records Tour, which will also feature Polar Bear Club and Crime In Stereo. Tour dates are listed below.

Ruiner Announce Dead Weight EP
August 5, 2009
As Ruiner gears up to release their upcoming full-length, 'Hell Is Empty', on September 22nd, they are proud to announce their teaser EP – the 'Dead Weight' EP. Featuring the track “Dead Weight” off of 'Hell Is Empty' and two exclusives, “Constrictor” and “Ruiner” (Nine Inch Nails cover), the 'Dead Weight' EP will be available on September 8th and was recorded with J. Robbins during the 'Hell Is Empty' sessions.

Vocalist Rob Sullivan said, “the song ‘Dead Weight’ is about my distaste for where I work and the neighborhood in which I live and how sometimes, regardless of your ability to breathe, you are already dead.” And regarding the Nine Inch Nails cover, “Ruiner”, Rob commented, “NIN is one band who I have loved since I was in middle school, and I still listen to them on the regular. It is where we got our name from and we knew one day we would try to pull off recording the song ‘Ruiner’. Hopefully we did it justice.”

**Interesting fact: J. Robbins actually plays the odd synth guitar part that is done with a keyboard on the original version of the song.**

Following the release of Ruiner’s upcoming EP and full-length, the band will canvas the U.S. on the first ever Bridge Nine Tour alongside labelmates Strike Anywhere, Polar Bear Club, and Crime In Stereo. Sullivan commented, “We are very excited about the upcoming tour and to be on the road with our friends and labelmates – it should be an awesome time.” Tour dates are listed below.
