Psyopus Debut New Video On Ultimate-guitar.com
September 22, 2009
"Duct Tape Smile," the new video from 'Odd Senses' had it's premiere on Ultimate-Guitar.com this past Thursday, September 17th. This is a fitting home for the video as Psyopus is the source of some of the most insane and over the top guitar riffs in metal and Ultimate-Guitar.com is the home of one of the largest communities of shredders on the web.

Psyopus
architect Chris Arp comments, "Super psyched to finally be getting this video out for the public to see. It's been a long time coming. This is my second favorite song off of our latest album. With this, I am happy that there is this video to compliment the imagination of the song."

The video was shot in Copenhagen, Denmark by Michael Panduro and David Lund for Siegfried Productions - http://www.siegfriedproductions.dk/.

Molotov Solution Release Details For 'The Harbinger'
April 13, 2009
In preparation for their upcoming release, 'The Harbinger', Las Vegas metal act Molotov Solution has just released the track listing and album artwork to the Metal Blade Records debut. 'The Harbinger' will contain 11 blistering tracks, which were recorded with Tim Lambesis (As I Lay Dying), Daniel Castleman, and Kelly Cairns at Lambesis studios in San Diego, CA (Sworn Enemy, Impending Doom, War of Ages).

"Working with people like Kelly and Daniel at Lambesis Studio allowed our CD to really come out the way we intended it to simply because the mass amount of time they put into it for us. Jeremy managed to shell out all 11 tracks in about 9 hours which allowed us to focus greatly on vocals and guitars! With at least 12 hours a day for about 3 weeks of constant performing, we honestly feel that the songs could not get any tighter.

In 'The Harbinger' we focused more on structured songs rather than part after part as well as changing up the moods from song to song so it doesn't all sound the same. It's definitely the heaviest collection of songs we have written and the most proud we could be about a release! As for the new material goes we will be playing a large portion of it on our upcoming Young Guns Tour with Psyopus, Rose Funeral, and Woe of Tyrants. So come out and bang your fucking head with us!"

'The Harbinger' Track List:
1. Warlords
2. Rule By Secrecy
3. Only The Dead
4. Atrum Inritus
5. Corpus Imperium
6. Monolithic Apparatus
7. The Harbinger
8. Enslaved
9. Awakening
10. Living Proof
11. The Dawn Of Ascendency

The Lambesis studio team was pivotal in capturing the intensity of 'The Harbinger'. Mastering duties were left in the more than capable hands of Alan Douches at West West Side Music (Shadows Fall, God Forbid, The Acacia Strain) who put on the final crushing touches. Molotov Solution's 'The Harbinger', which paints a picture of a dark society and an even darker future, will be in stores and online everywhere June 9th 2009.

Be sure to catch the band when they come through with Psyopus, Rose Funeral, and Woe of Tyrants as part of the Metal Blade Records Young Guns Tour.

Metal Blade Announces "Young Guns" Tour
March 19, 2009
This spring, fans will have the chance to witness several of Metal Blade's youngest and brightest bands share the stage at venues across the US. The tour will include headliners, Psyopus, who are joined by DIY touring vets, Rose Funeral, critically acclaimed shred heavy newcomers, Woe of Tyrants, and Las Vegas' latest and brutal offering to the world of extreme metal, Molotov Solution.

Metal Blade founder and CEO, Brian Slagel comments, “We are very excited to get our cool new bands all on the road together for a great price. We hope that everyone comes out to support the bands and check out the latest in metal.”

Psyopus' latest masterpiece, 'Odd Senses', hit streets on February 17th and has blown away fans and critics alike - from the add explosive tracks like "The Burning Halo" to the epic nearly classical track, "A Murder to a Child". This band's live performance literally has to been seen to be believed. Main man Chris Arp is excited to join up with these bands on the road, “We're psyched to own stages across this country with these rocking kats. Metal in your face, zinch, zinch, zinch!” - Chris Arp, Psyopus

Rose Funeral's sophomore release and Metal Blade debut, 'The Resting Sonata', offers an impressive slab of death metal that, when delivered live, causes audiences to erupt into violent mosh pits. Expect gang vocals and death metal delivered with precision. The band adds, “We are all stoked to be on tour with some of our Metal Blade family members. This will definitely be a tour full of surprises for everyone. Don't miss a show coming to your area or you will miss out on one of the best highlights of the year.”

Christian metalcore newcomers, Woe of Tyrants, have wowed critics and guitar aficionados with, 'Kingdom of Might'. Their ability to meld high flying near Dragonforce-esque guitars with the groove and aggression of death metal is coupled with a positive and thought-provoking lyrical message. Vocalist Chris Catanzaro comments, “Woe of Tyrants are extremely proud and grateful to represent our label, Metal Blade, on the Young Guns Tour this spring, alongside some fantastic bands. Getting to share the stage with our boys in Psyopus once again is an honor, and we're looking forward to going out for the first time with Rose Funeral and Molotov Solution. Come and check out some great new talents, see you on the road!”

Molotov Solution, one of Metal Blade's newest additions, just finished recording their Metal Blade debut at Lambesis Studios in San Diego with the duo of Tim Lambesis and Daniel Castlman mixing. Their social commentary and intelligent lyrical attacks are sure to continue on this next installment. Guitarist Robbie Pina adds, “We are extremely excited and honored to be included in Metal Blades "Young Guns" tour. This will be our first tour as part of the Metal Blade family and our anticipation precedes us.”
