Thy Will Be Done Frontman Comments On Fear Factory Tour
May 21, 2010
After a successful winter tour that they were personally invited to perform on by Dez Fafara of DevilDriver, Providence Rhode Island's Thy Will Be Done are now out on the road with Fear Factory, Prong, and Silent Civilian. The Fear Campaign Tour is set to tear across the US throughout the rest of May and the first half of June. Special guests All That Remains will join up with the tour on June 8th. No strangers to the road, Thy Will Be Done have been touring non-stop since the release of their 2007 debut album 'Was And Is To Come'.

Front man J. Costa had the following to say about the current tour:
"We're genuine fans of music first and foremost, so it's still a bit surreal to be a part of a tour with Fear Factory whom not only is highly influential to Thy Will Be Done but so many other bands! I hear FF in SO many bands and for whatever reason, in my opinion, not enough people site them as being as HIGHLY influential and groundbreaking as they are.

The same is also felt about Prong! We owe so much to them for helping pave the way. We're also glad to be out here with SIlent Civilian. They're solid musicians and people and Jonny's got some serious pipes. So, as music fans and musicians, we're super humbled and appreciative to be on this run."

Their 2009 follow-up effort, 'In Ancient of Days', was released June 30 again through Stillborn Records and produced, engineered and mixed by Zeuss with Jamey Jasta as executive producer. The European release features the bonus track "Mystery, Her Name". An exclusive alternate version of the album is also available in the US through retailer Hot Topic which features the track "Becoming the Way".

Thy Will Be Done
has been seen on tour with or supporting Machine Head, Lamb of God, DevilDriver, Amon Amarth, Crowbar, Arch Enemy, Hatebreed, Five Finger Death Punch, Kingdom of Sorrow and Type O Negative just to name a few.

Prong Set To Release Remix Album
March 26, 2009
13th Planet Records is set to release Prong's 'Power of The Damn MIXXXer' on May 12. The complilation is a follow up to Prong's 2007 release, 'Power of The Damager', and will precede a pair of US dates and a month long European tour.

Prong is set to perform at Tucson’s Suicidal Metalfest May 9, the festival to be hosted by 13th Planet Records chief henchman, Ministry’s Al Jourgensen. The following evening, May 10, Prong headlines a local Tucson club show before packing up and heading to Europe for a 25-city tour.

Prong's 'Power of The Damager' was released on 13th Planet in 2007 to a concensus that it was the band's best release since the band's early to mid-90's releases. "...Power of the Damager, rivals the heaviness, intensity and scream-along hooks of the band’s early ’90s material," said MTV's Headbanger's Blog while Invisible Oranges' Cosmo Lee said of the album upon release, "Prong hasn't sounded this pissed off in years."

"We are really excited about this remix compilation of ‘Power of The Damager’ material.," explains Prong frontman Tommy Victor. "We feel the LP was overlooked and in some cases ignored. But the added elements provided by the great remixers, producers, and deejays infused with all the tracks make 'Power of The Damn MiXXXer' an interesting yet enjoyable listening experience.”

'Power of The Damn MiXXXer' track listing:

Biography
YEAR FORMED: 1986
HOME TOWN: New York
MEMBERS:
Tommy Victor (guitar/vocals)
Brian Perry (bass)
Dan Laudo (drums)

After a five-year absence, industrial rock pioneers Prong - whose provocative mix of thrash, metal, techno and hardcore paved the way for artists such as Static-X, Rob Zombie and Nine Inch Nails - have reunited. The current incarnation of Prong includes singer/guitarist/founder Tommy Victor, bassist Brian Perry, and drummer Dan Laudo. The band also will be accompanied on tour by guitarist Monte Pittman, a longtime friend of Victor and an alumnus of Madonna's recent Drowned World Tour.Prong's lineup has been very fluid over the years, with Victor being the only constant. He says he initially considered touring under a different moniker. "For a while, I thought, 'I won't use this name; Prong is a dead entity,'" he says. "But really it isn't, because a good 95% of the material has been mine throughout the years, so I figured, 'Might as well just keep it going.' There's people out there that want to hear it, and I owe it to them."Prong has written a four-song demo -with which the band expects to soon procure a new record deal - and plans to record a live album during its 35-city trek. "It took a long time to get this thing back going again," he admits. "It's something I'd been trying to do, and now it sort of reminds me of back when Prong started, where we didn't have a record deal - the idea of just doing it."Founded in 1986 by Victor, then a soundman at New York City's legendary CBGB's, Prong put the New York hardcore scene on notice with two acclaimed independent releases, Primitive Origins and Force Fed. The albums attracted the attention of Epic Records, which signed the trio in 1989. On its major-label debut, 1990's Beg To Differ, Prong showcased a refined approach accented by elements of progressive thrash. The following year, the band issued Prove You Wrong, which saw them experiment with programming and electronic samples while retaining an aggressive yet melodic sensibility. But it was 1994's Cleansing that cemented the group's reputation as leaders of the burgeoning industrial rock movement. Showcasing a sharper yet more accessible sound, the album included "Broken Peace" and the infectious "Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck," videos for which became staples of MTV's renowned Headbanger's Ball. After the release of 1996's Rude Awakening, Prong disbanded, and Victor quickly began collaborating with prominent rock figures such as Glenn Danzig and Rob Zombie. But he knew he'd eventually have to attend to what he believes is "unfinished business." In addition to classics from Cleansing and Rude Awakening, Victor says fans can expect to hear at least one new song performed live: "Initiation," co-written by Halford/Diesel Machine guitarist Pat Lachman. But he also looks forward to reacquainting audiences with fresh renditions of catalog favorites. "The stuff was on the shelf for a while, and you have a different outlook on it," he says. "I think I enjoy it more now."
