No Consequence Signs With Basick Records
February 7, 2009
With their gut wrenching foundation of technical death metal groove combined with emotive melodies, No Consequence join the ranks of UK independent metal label Basick Records.

Simultaneously progressive, brutal and catchy, No Consequence are technically impressive without geek exclusivity and their genre crossing talent produces music that is as challenging to pigeonhole as it is to safely absorb. Vocalist Phil Winterbottom said: "Having watched Basick grow as a label since its conception we cannot think of
a better label to release our debut album through. We're incredibly proud and excited to be signed to Basick Records and are looking forward to destroying 2009 with our new album."

With the bands debut album 'In The Shadow Of Gods' set to be unleashed upon the unsuspecting masses in August, this year should be the year that sees No Consequence well and truly conquer the UK metal scene.

A demo track from the forthcoming album is now available on the Basick AudioPlayer.

You can catch the band as they tour the UK extensively throughout 2009, or check out the bands MySpace page at http://www.myspace.com/noconsequence.

"Testing the limits of your senses with an array of heaviness, technicality and note-perfect melodies, No Consequence are a band on a mission: to prove that not sticking to the rules of the game can indeed pay off.

Recently signed to renowned British independent Basick Records, the group produce the type of emotive and sincere sounds that may soon see the British metal scene envious at their feet. Simultaneously progressive, brutal and catchy, No Consequence defy the standard practice of sticking to the rules and restraints of any particular genre; producing music that is as challenging to pigeonhole as it is to safely absorb. With their new album "In The Shadow Of Gods" set to be unleashed upon the unsuspecting masses, 2009 should be the year that sees the metal/hardcore scene well and truly conquered.

For Once, No Consequence is a term worth fearing.

Catch the band destroying venues at town near you soon..."
