The release marks the 25th Anniversary of GWAR's thawing-out, and we proclaim a two-year celebration to herald this brain-melting event! Death to life! Up the Irish! GWAR is back on Metal Blade and bitter is their wrath!"

DEAD BY WEDNESDAY touring with MENSREA featuring members of
January 30, 2009
DEAD BY WEDNESDAY, featuring former members of the underground heavyweight outfit GARGANTUA SOUL and drummer Opus, have announced a showcase on February 23rd, at Lit Lounge in New York City.

Precious Metal is a night of heavy music, featuring DJs and national touring bands, hosted by Curran Reynolds, party curator and drummer for local NYC band WETNURSE. The group (DBW) will also be touring throughout February, March and April with MENSREA, which features members of GWAR, before kicking off a full US tour this summer/fall.

The album is a hybrid version of metal that incorporates elements of punk and hardcore into a musical loaded gun that confronts hard hitting topics like the war in the Middle East, religion and US foreign policy with politically charged lyrics. Using music a platform, Dead By Wednesday hopes to raise awareness among America’s youth about the need for a change.

Dead By Wednesday also recently launched their own YouTube Channel entitled “DBWTV” online at which contains interviews, videos along with a trailer episode of the reality TV pilot I Should Have Been A Rock Star.
