Myspace Deathcore phenoms,
Suicide Silence, just completed a sold-out European trek with
Parkway Drive and
Bury Your Dead. The group will make their triumphant return to the U.S. in early July as part of the summer’s most anticipated tour, “
Rockstar Energy Mayhem,” alongside
Slipknot,
Disturbed and
Machine Head, among a slew of others. A slew of off-dates have also been scheduled as well so be sure to visit
http://www.myspace.com/suicidesilence to view their complete touring schedule.
Chris Garza (guitars) further comments: “We are happy to be home and take it easy after a few weeks of European madness. Every night was fucking killer. A huge thank you to all that went ape shit at the shows.
Parkway Drive and
Bury Your Dead were a blast to tour with and it seemed to be the perfect package for us. We will take the month of June to begin writing for our next album. Lots of crazy ideas are flying around. Then get ready to get your face bashed in after a full day of metal at the
Mayhem tour with
Slipknot! They have been one of my favorite bands since I was in junior high so it’s gonna be a good time. Come out to hang and drink some beers with us. See you all in July.”
Garza and
Mark Heylmun (guitars) are currently featured in
Guitar World that has
Dan Donegan (
Disturbed) on the cover, which hits stands next week.
Garza recently completed a series of instructional videos for
YouTube and in the first episode he breaks down how to play “
Unanswered,” in addition to going over his guitar rig setup. Check it out out below.
