Deftones Schedule 'Rockline' Appearance

DEFTONES will be the featured guests on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline" airing Monday, July 31. The live show begins at 8:30 p.m. PT / 11:30 p.m. ET, and fans are encouraged to call in with questions during the program at (800) 344-ROCK (7625). To find a station near you, check out

DEFTONES and KORN will begin the Family Values tour on July 27 in Virginia Beach, with STONE SOUR, FLYLEAF and DIR EN GREY joining them on the main stage. Second-stage acts have not been confirmed.

DEFTONES will release their fifth album on September 12. A title has yet to be determined, although a song called "Hole in the Earth" is the tentative first single.

The latest release from Deftones, B-Sides & Rarities, is in stores now. The CD/DVD collects the bandís various covers, alternate versions of album tracks and rare non-album songs together in one convenient place. Also included is a DVD featuring their video library and behind-the-scenes action. You can currently preview the music portion on Myspace and on AOL Music.

October 4th will see the release of Deftones B-Sides & Rarities on Maverick Records. The album collects various covers the band has recorded over the years along with alternate versions of album tracks. So Death Angel's label royally fucked up and announced that the band would be a part of the Deftones tour, before the deal was finalized. As a result, the Deftones' management got pissed and now Death Angel will NOT be a part of the tour.
