Dirge Within Announce Tour With Gwar

Chicago rockers Dirge Within are continuing their ongoing tour campaign by supporting the mighty GWAR this summer. "Dirge Within and Gwar. Wow, that is a lethal combo! We are thrilled to be hitting the road with the mighty scumdogs!" says guitarist Shaun Glass. Pre-Sale tix went up Monday. All regular tickets going on sale tomorrow Friday, April 2nd and Saturday, April 3rd.

Dirge Within is currently finishing up a successful tour with "Fear Campaign Tour 2010" with Fear Factory. Glass concludes, "As a long time friend /fan of the band it has been an honor for us to begin our new tour cycle with one of the most bad ass bands on the planet and back with a mind blowing comeback record. It's been nights of ear splitting sonic mayhem!"

Dirge Within's debut album, 'Force Fed Lies', was released on September 1, 2009 via E1 Music. The CD was mixed by Jeff Rose and Martin "Ginge" Ford of Nott-In-Pill studios in Newport, Wales, United Kingdom. Edsel Dope (Dope) produced the effort alongside Chris Djuricic (Studio One). The album features guest appearances by Corey Beaulieu of Trivium and Michael Angelo Batio of Nitro. Stephen Jensen created the cover artwork from F3 studios. Fans can purchase / preview here.
