New Found Glory To Tour With Dashboard Confessional
September 22, 2009
Pop punkers New Found Glory have just announced a remarkable live pairing with Chris Carrabba's influential indie outfit Dashboard Confessional for a one of a kind North American tour with a proceeding headlining run of warm-up dates to kick off the tour in support of their new video & single "Don't Let Her Pull You Down." New Found Glory's recent Epitaph release, 'Not Without A Fight', is a triumphant return to form by the much beloved melodic punk band. The Onion AV Club remarked of their Mark Hoppus (Blink 182) produced album, "New Found Glory still hits hard enough to matter" while the Houston Press said, "these guys have distilled their sound wisely, tightening every aspect and embracing their ultra-catchy core."

In a time of ever changing lineups and near constant band breakups, New Found Glory is a refreshing anomaly, having maintained the same hilarious hard rocking roster for over ten years. As the band explains, "You fight with your mom. You don't hang out with her all the time. But you love her! You're never going to hate her. We're family. It might sound cliché, but that's what it is."

And with New Found Glory's dynamic new release, these five friends have without question reinstated themselves as premiere practitioners of riotous hook infused punk. And so it only fitting that they take their beloved prank filled energetic live show on the road for what will undoubtedly be one of the year's most heartfelt and electrifying tours. Epitaph Signs Pop-Punkers Set Your Goals
March 26, 2009
Epitaph Records is proud to announce the signing of Bay Area pop-punk crew Set Your Goals with plans to release their sophomore album on July 21st. The band recently wrapped up recording with Mike Green (Paramore, The Matches) and are currently on the road with labelmates New Found Glory on a cross-country tour.

"Of all our options, Epitaph was our first pick and we're very excited about having a great team of people behind us who will give this record the push we know it deserves," said singer Matt Wilson. "We've put a lot of time into this and it's reassuring to see that they believe in it as much as we do. The staff is very enthusiastic about working with our ideas and there is a dedication to our band here that we've never felt from any other label."

Born out of the Bay Area punk scene, Set Your Goals released an EP in 2006 and their critically acclaimed, fan favorite full length, 'Mutiny!', later the same year. Immediately grabbing the attention of their fellow bands and fans, the group would go on to tour with the likes of Alexisonfire, Anti Flag and Saves The Day over the next few years. In 2007 the band was featured on the 'Punk Goes Acoustic 2' compilation and in 2008 they recorded Lil Jon's "Put Yo Hood Up" for the 'Punk Goes Crunk' compilation.
