The Dillinger Escape Plan at Infliktour
ARTIST: The Dillinger Escape Plan
ALBUM: Ire Works
The Dillinger Escape Plan are a sight to see, although if you're not a fan of their music to begin with, they're not likely to impress you with their live show outside of the seizure inducing strobe lights they have going on and their spastic stage presence. They were easily the most unique band on this entire bill, but not necessarily in a good way. They're simply on a different level than the likes of Throwdown, Bury Your Dead, or Cavalera Conspiracy. They're also alot harder to get good photos of, simply because the entire band develops tourettes onstage, and their vocalist runs around like a mad man. The best song of their entire set was their cover of Van Halen's 80's classic "Hot For Teacher". Maybe when these guys discover a little thing called Ritalin, they'll actually be able to put on a decent live show.
