In their few short years of existence MODERN LIFE IS WAR have grown to become one of the most inspiring punk/hardcore bands in recent memory. Their debut album, "My Love. My Way" (Martyr 2003), crossed boundaries and won the support of the community with it's unwavering passion and sincerity. Appealing to everyone from the jaded to the driven with their immeasurable heart and vigor. The new album from MODERN LIFE IS WAR, "Witness", was recorded and engineered by Kurt Ballou (Converge) at God City Studios in Salem MA. "Witness" is not only musical progression for the band, but arguably true artistic perfection. "Witness" is their true story of real life struggle in contemporary rural America. As importantly, "Witness" is also their artistic journey into the soul of personal rebellion. An introspective gaze into the bitter exile of their own lost generation. Lyrically captivating, musically discordant, and soulfully haunting, "Witness" is both the crowning achievement and well worn scar we all long to artistically create. Saying the words that we all wish we could say, in the name of the pain, beauty, and the hardship of living. Look for MODERN LIFE IS WAR "Witness" everywhere this summer.
