October 12, 2009
Massachusetts hard rockers, All That Remains, debuted their video for their latest single "Forever in Your Hands" exclusively on MySpace.com at www.myspace.com/metal on October 7th. The video will also air on an upcoming episode of MTV2's Headbangers Ball hosted by the band on the morning of October 18th at 2:00 AM ET.

Filmed this summer in Washington DC while on the Mayhem tour, the video is directed by David Brodsky (Unearth, The Black Dahlia Murder, Suicide Silence) and features cameos by Adam D. and Joel Stroetzel of KsE, Shannon Lucas of The Black Dahlia Murder, and Byron Davis and Doc Coyle of God Forbid. The video will be available for sale on iTunes on October 13th. ATR will also be offering a free download of the song "Frozen" on the band's MySpace page. This song was previously unreleased in the United States and only available in Japan.

In other news the band's hit single "Two Weeks" is now featured on the Rock Band Metal Track Pack, a standalone disc available October 13th at retail stores nationwide. The Metal Track Pack will feature 20 metal tracks from artists including Lamb of God, Bullet For My Valentine, Judas Priest and more.

All That Remains
is currently on the HardDrive Live tour with Lacuna Coil and Maylene & The Sons of Disaster. They will continue on the road this winter co-headlining with The Devil Wears Prada on the Napalm & Noise Tour (with support from Story Of The Year and Haste The Day). All tour dates are available below.

Massachusetts hard rockers ATR have toured all year in the US and Europe with bands like Slipknot and Disturbed and just wrapped the summer Rockstar Mayhem Tour. They are currently on the road in support of their release 'Overcome', which debuted at #16 on the Billboard Top 200 chart last year and has already sold over 200,000 copies. The band continues to do well at radio with another Top 20 Active Rock single, "Forever in Your Hands." ATR was featured on a special summer cover of Alternative Press as well as previous covers of Revolver and Metal Edge Magazines. The band's music videos are frequently played on MTV2 and Fuse and have tracks featured on both Rock Band and Guitar Hero 2 video games, resulting in over 100,000 additional individual track downloads.

Biography
HOME TOWN: Birmingham, AL
MEMBERS:
Dallas Taylor (vocals)
Josh Cornutt (guitar)
Scott Collum (guitar)
Roman Havaland (bass)
Lee Turner (drums)

The date is January 16, 1935. After a twenty-year spree of organized crime, mayhem, and murder, Ma Barker lie slain from a shootout with authorities in a backwoods cabin just outside of Ocala, Florida. In her bloody hand she clenched her tommy-gun as she exhaled her last breath, a picture of perfect justice as one of the last organized crime bosses of the 20th Century. She and her four sons, who comprised the Barker-Karpis Gang, had purged a path of infamy throughout the South that would not soon be forgotten. And though many would have her story be silenced, some tales speak even louder from the grave.Years passed. Decades came and went. Generations handed down the tale of Ma Barker and her sons as a warning to wrongdoers across the Southern United States. Eventually the story would reach an Ocala youth named Dallas Taylor, who was both impacted and haunted by the tale throughout his childhood. So much so, in fact, that he was led to create his own crew of insurgents in the wake of Ma's legacy, 70 years later. You will come to know them as Maylene And The Sons Of Disaster."What has always struck me about the Ma Barker story is how much it symbolizes the idea of 'what goes around, comes around.' Divine justice is unavoidable. When I was a kid, I would see re- enactments of the Barker shooting in Ocala every year with my Grandpa, and it was as if Ma Barker and her sons werestill screaming their story to anyone who would listen. Maylene And The Sons Of Disaster is made up of five dudes who play the role of the Barker sons, and in these songs we speak as though we were them, telling any who would listen that a life lived unjustly will meet divine justice on the other side. We also wanted to think of the most crazy backwoods theme possible for this band. Since Ma was backwoods, and we are backwoods, this is the way it had to be."You may remember Dallas Taylor from his days fronting the now highly successful Florida quintet Underoath. After parting ways with his former unit, he packed up and moved to Birmingham, Alabama, which would become the home of Maylene And The Sons Of Disaster. Fueled with new surroundings, it wasn't long before he had assembled his cast and began pouring his thoughts into new music with a vengeance."This band is about a return to your roots. This is the South. This is about kids being trashy and realizing that being southern is cool in and of itself. You don't have to be 'scene' to be southern orto listen to this music. We want to get back to letting our background speak through heavy music that doesn't sound like the fifty thousand other bands that are doing it right now. If I hear one moreband that sounds like Taking Back Sunday or The Used I am going to throw up."The sound is just that: southern, trashy, and heavy. A far cry from the metalcore/screamo fad that is just begging to be put out of it's misery, Maylene And The Sons Of Disaster sounds more as if Willie Nelson has met early Neurosis and Black Label Society. It's as southern rock as it is metal. Gone are blast-beats and break-downs which bore. Taylor's scratchy cat-calls reek of belief in a higher calling with attitude unmatched. The guitar work of Scott Collum and Josh Cornutt squeels with taste, as a departure from the Killswitch Engage's, the Shadows Fall's of world dominated by "core." At moments it almost seems as if you are listening to a rock band that is made up of closet metal heads, instead of vise versa. These are songs with a soul, a conscience sweating from backyard bar-b-ques, sweet tea, pickup trucks, and shotgun fire. The new album carries with it a stubborn allegiance to not only the south, but also to the importance of true relationships with both God and man. In "Caution: Dangerous Curves Ahead" Dallas chastens, Was it worth the while burning us up. When the oath that bound us was more than words. Heretics claiming the savior as their own. I have the book and it's warned me of you. Though a majority of the record spits venom, Taylor isn't without his moments of vulnerability. On "Gusty Like the Wind" he belts,Depression takes far too much and I'm far too drained to give her what's due. I live for defeat. Find myself searching for the worst. Take me where I need to go. I'm much too tired to live alone. And on the final track, "Just Wanted To Make Mother Proud," The Sons of Disaster play the objects of wrath as Taylor proclaims, Coming to the end of my road, but I never wanted it like this, not like this. Looking over there lay mother and louder and louder I screamed her name but she wouldn't say anything... I reach down and reload my ticket home."I am so fed up with people acting like cowards, and so tired of the many things I've lived for in the past," says Dallas. "I feel like it's time to get back to where I was when I was young. This band is proud of who we are as people, what we believe, and where we come from. I feel like so much of music today, especially those who come from a Christian background, spend so much time hiding who they really are, or being ashamed of their beliefs, trying to be 'scene' or to sell records. I want every kid to know I am not going to change who Ireally am to sell records. I mean, I absolutely hate shoving things down people's throats, but hiding who you are is just as bad."
