Malefice Video Footage From India Posted Online

The UK's fast rising groove metal titans, Malefice, recently had the privilege of travelling to New Dehli, India. They played for thousands of pumped up metal fans at the annual Rendezvous Festival. As always, the band went with cameras rolling so fans can get a glimpse inside of what he trip was like. Check out part 1 of the video below, or on their myspace page.
Malefice comments: “This is the first video from our trip to India. We had an amazing time, saw some incredible things and met some incredible people. This first video will give a flavour of the experiences we had during the first part of trip, the sights, sounds and uniqueness of India. Stay tuned for part 2 and we'll see you on the road soon.”

DevilDriver Add UK Dates

DevilDriver, the circlepit kings whose new album, ‘Pray For Villains’, was released recently, have added three shows to their October tour. The added shows in Nottingham, Newcastle and Northampton, are on sale now.

The new DevilDriver video for ‘Pray For Villains’ can be seen now on all good music channels, and can be viewed online too by heading over to this location.

DevilDriver Announce String Of UK Shows

DevilDriver, the circlepit kings who slayed the Download Festival last weekend with their incendiary main stage set, return to the UK for a short batch of dates this October.

The California based band’s beast of a new album, ‘Pray For Villains’ hits stores on 13th July. Critics and rock media agree that this new release sees the band operating at a higher level than ever before, having honed their sound over three previous albums to the benchmark status they’ve attained today. ‘Pray For Villains’ is also available in a special edition format, that includes 4 bonus tracks and an additional DVD of ‘behind the scenes/making of the album’ material. Malefice Post New Song 'Abandon Hope' Online

British modern thrash metal titans, Malefice, have posted a brand new song online. "Abandon Hope", which had it's world premiere on the BBC's Radio 1 Rock Show, comes off the band's forthcoming Metal Blade debut, 'Dawn Of Reprisal'.

Packed full of meaty riffs, fret-shredding leads, and a sense of groove that will stand up against any name you care to mention, 'Dawn Of Reprisal' arrives in U.S. stores on March 3rd, 2009. This is the date that the rest of the world shall follow Britain's lead in worshipping at the altar of Malefice! Consider this your warning!

'Dawn of Reprisal' was recorded and mixed by Dan Weller and Justin Hill (ex-SikTh) at Fortress Studios London and Timeless Studios London, mastered at 360 Mastering by Dick Beetham.

The band comments on the new album: “'Dawn of Reprisal' is a massive step forward for all of us as a band, and individuals. Malefice has matured a lot in a short space of time and one listen to this new record will show you that. We've crafted our sound into what we all missed about metal. Killer riffs, punishing drums, intense vocals and songs you can break your neck to!”
