LoveHateHero Joins Eyes Set To Kill's Headline Tour
October 6, 2009
Los Angeles based LoveHateHero have announced they will join Eyes Set To Kill's previously announced Revolver sponsored headlining tour. The band is currently touring in support of their recently released new album, 'America Underwater', which hit stores last week through Ferret Records.

LoveHateHero’s third full length release focuses more on its well-developed vocal melodies and cleanly polished hooks, clearly showing a band that has matured and hit its stride. If storming the Internet with 10 brand new anthems isn’t enough, LoveHateHero has also released its brand new video for the title track off of 'America Underwater'. Shot in Lake Mohave, AZ this past summer, the clip was directed by Spence Nicholson (Hollywood Undead, Hit the Lights, The Devil Wears Prada) and can be viewed below, as well as online at this location.

Eyes Set To Kill is currently supporting their sophomore album, 'The World Outside', which was released through BreakSilence Recordings. Lyrically 'The World Outside' is like an unguarded look into the heart and mind of Eyes Set to Kill’s front woman, Alexia Rodriguez. It’s here that the singer-songwriter shines brightest, offering listeners a front row seat to watch her battle the singer-songwriters darkest demons. The group’s video for the song “Heights” can be seen online at this location.

In each market, BreakSilence and Revolver Magazine will give two local opening acts the chance to win a recording contract with BreakSilence Recordings. The winner will receive a recording contract from BreakSilence Recordings, an endorsement deal from Ernie Ball, a feature in Revolver magazine, gear from Schecter Guitars, Daisy rock guitars and custom EMG pick-ups. LoveHateHero Post New Song "Echoes" Online
June 2, 2009
Los Angeles based screamo rockers, LoveHateHero, has posted a new song “Echoes” on their Myspace page. The song is taken from their upcoming album, 'Fight or Flight', which the band recorded with platinum selling pop/rock producers Daniel James and Leah Haywood at Dreamlab Productions.

The song is the first single posted from the album and acts as a smooth transition from the heaviness and soaring riffs of their last album, 'White Lies', and the polished guitar lines and clean vocal melodies of 'Fight or Flight'.

Vanna Unveil A New Hope In March
January 30, 2009
Boston post-hardcore group, Vanna, will release their anticipated sophomore album, 'A New Hope', March 24th on Epitaph Records. Produced and mixed by Steve Evetts (Every Time I Die, Our Last Night, Story of the Year) and mastered by Alan Douches (Converge), 'A New Hope' emphasizes the band's heightened musical abilities, balancing a perfect blend of emotive rock and perilous hardcore with refined precession. Fans can catch a preview of the new album this January as the band tours with Gwen Stacy.

Since the release of Vanna's fan-favorite debut EP, 'The Search Party Never Came', and their follow-up full-length, 'Curses', the band has been on a continuous musical journey, evolving, exploring and maturing with each release and tour. With the experience of using what works and letting go of what doesn't, the band tackled the writing and recording of 'A New Hope' with an added perspective and understanding.

"The writing and recording process naturally becomes more dialed and decisive with each record," explains lead vocalist Chris Preece. "This record was approached with more of a group mentality. We talked a lot about what we liked and disliked about our last two releases, and each one of us were able to express ourselves in every step of the process. We locked ourselves in our practice space for two months, everyone threw out song ideas, and the ideas were fleshed out into something that we were all happy with. All of our individual influences and inspirations played a big role creatively."

Creativity abounds. 'A New Hope' will grab Vanna's core fans with catchy songs fueled by intense breakdowns, while their accessible melodious song-writing will open the door to a new audience.

'A New Hope' Tracklisting:
1. Let's Have An Earthquake
2. Into Hell's Mouth We March
3. The Same Graceful Wind
4. Like Changing Seasons
5. Trashmouth
6. Safe To Say
7. We Are Nameless
8. Sleepwalker
9. Where We Are Now
10. Ten Arms
11. Life and Limb
12. The Sun Sets Here

Continually elevating their game, Vanna have raised the musical stakes with a bombardment of twelve tracks that invoke a deluge of sensations. Preece's guttural screams and Evan Pharmakis' (guitarist/vocals) melodic choruses seamlessly duel on tracks like the epic post-hardcore anthem for the ages, "Safe To Say," and the sweeping hit "The Same Graceful Wind." The fast, ferocious work of guitarist Nick Lambert, bassist Shawn Marquis and drummer Chris Campbell provide a wall of intense sound on tracks like "Trashmouth" and "Life and Limb."

Vanna's undying passion for creating and growing musically has resulted in one of the best post-hardcore releases in years. Resistance is futile. See Vanna this January and February on tour with Gwen Stacy and Our Last Night, immediately followed by a tour with LoveHateHero and Blessed By A Broken Heart that runs from mid-February through March 1st.

HOME TOWN: Burbank, CA
Myke Russell - Guitar
Scot Gee - Drums
Pierrick Berube - Vocals
Paris Bosserman - Bass
Kevin Gruft - Guitar

There is no better way to open their debut album "Just Breathe..." than with the powerful lyrics: "What's it like, killing time, in this dream called life", describing how singer Pierrick Berube watched his younger sister's life fall between the cracks and his efforts to get her to see what was happening. "I write about how I'm feeling, right then, happy or sad, not about the past or the future."LoveHateHero vocalist Pierrick Berube pours his heart out over ten songs of personal loss, tragedy, heartbreak and betrayal, and the strength to overcome them, in hopes that others will get his messages. While intricate guitar passages and metal-influenced leads are an added bonus to their musical style, LoveHateHero puts their effort into music that drives and progresses seamlessly, and succeeds in capturing their listeners and making fans out of them. "People say we sound different, but we will always be categorized and compared to other bands" says Pierrick. "That's something every band has to deal with sooner or later. It's no big deal, really. We just try to write really good music." But with strong work ethics and morals, and a drug-free lifestyle, they are most definitely different and stand out among many of their peers.LoveHateHero began their collected efforts in the winter of 2003. Several months and ten songs later in a lockout in Burbank, CA, Josh Newman, Paris Bosserman, Pierrick Berube, Mark Johnston and Bryan Ross went into the studio for four months to produce and record their first album. "Being in the studio gives you time to really hear your songs and reflect on what they mean to you" remarks drummer Bryan Ross. "I appreciated the music a lot more after it was tracked."Shortly after completing recording, they embarked on a self-booked, seventeen day ten state tour of the US and Canada. They spent every day, show or no show, on the streets promoting, selling t-shirts, and pushing the label, all while freezing their asses off in the middle of the Pacific Northwest. Already having a full ten-song album, a music video, merchandise, a full street team, a tour under their belt, and a worldwide fan base, it was an easy choice for LoveHateHero to sign with Ferret Records in the early winter of 2005."Our goal is for people to really listen. Hopefully we will make a difference in their lives and still have a killer time doing it."
