Into The Moat Launch New Myspace, Reveal Album Art
January 15, 2009
Florida tech metal pioneers, Into the Moat, have launched their new MySpace page to promote their forthcoming album, 'The Campaign'. The record is the follow up to 2005’s 'The Design', and purveys the band’s collective growth and musical maturity. 'The Campaign' was recorded at Mana Recording studio with none other than Erik Rutan.

Guitarist Kit Wray comments on the band’s approach to 'The Campaign': “Since 'The Design', we have come very far as musicians as well as people. With this record, we focused more on the concept and music of the record. Song writing was much more the focus as opposed to technicality this time around. We are still the same band yet more evolved. Since Erik helped record our vision last time, it was only right to go back."

'The Campaign' track listing
1. The Last Century
2. From 1,000 Meters
3. Advocate v. Activist
4. The Führer
5. Grunt
6. Law of Conservation
7. Siege of Orléans
8. The Hermit

Check out the new track, "From 1,000 Meters", which is now streaming on the band's newly re-designed Myspace page.

'The Campaign' is ready to launch everywhere on March 17th.

Into The Moat Recording New Album (Finally!!)
June 28, 2008
Matthew Gossman, drummer for Florida's prog mathmetalcore extremists Into The Moat, has issued the following update via the band's Official Myspace Page regarding work on their forthcoming cd:

“Hey kiddies. Your dreams are being answered haha. We are currently in Mana studios in St. Petersburg, FL with Erik Rutan recording our second full length for Metal Blade records. The record is entitled 'The Campaign', and will be 8 new songs, to clock in at just over 40 minutes. At this point I am entirely done recording drums, and Kit is just about to start guitars. We should be done by around July 6th, so check the site for new tunes.

Yeah we've been saying that for a while, but this time it ain't no joke. Thank you to everyone for keeping us in mind through these last 3 years since we last made a record. I hope you haven't lost faith in us, this record is gonna be killer.”
