Through The Eyes Of The Dead Announce Headlining Fall Tour

South Carolina Deathcore upstarts Through The Eyes Of The Dead, fresh off its hugely successful run on Unearth's "Sanctity of Brothers" tour, have revealed plans for a headlining trek from November 16 to December 16. Sponsored by Draven and Decibel magazine, the tour will see Through The Eyes Of The Dead joining forces with From A Second Story Window, Prosthetic Records labelmates The Acacia Strain and If Hope Dies, spanning the nation from Virginia to the West Coast and back to Through The Eyes Of The Dead's home state for the tour's final date in mid-December.

//Radiotakeover 'Take It Back' Tour Details Announced

The //radiotakeover tour will be making its long awaited return this fall with If Hope Dies, Versus the Mirror, The Human Abstract, and Oh, Sleeper comprising the bill. The full US trek will mark the seventh installment of the tour which has previously seen acts such as Fall Out Boy, Underoath, Me Without You, Owen, The Red Chord, A Life Once Lost, Spitalfield, Evergreen Terrace, Fear Before the March of Flames, and many more take part. The first announced dates are as follows; there will be more dates announced.

If Hope Dies Auditioning Guitarists

If Hope Dies will be holding auditions for a new guitarist on July 15th in Auburn, NY. Here's the official word:

"Candidates must be willing to tour 7-10 months a year or more & preferably be straight edge or drug free. Relocation is not necessarily required but you must be able to practice 5 days a week and be available for shows/tours on a moment's notice. Download "Burned Out," "Anthem for the Unemployable" & "Death of a Salesman" - available on our Myspace page. You must learn the lead guitar parts to all three songs & be ready to play them and rock when you show up. Once you download the songs email us with Auditions as the subject & your Name, Age, Location & Phone Number so we can contact you with information on where & when to show up. If you have any questions feel free to ask away."

If Hope Dies latest album, Life In Ruin, was released on April 10, 2006 via Metal Blade/Iron Clad Recordings. Life in Ruin was produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by Jason Suecof (Trivium, God Forbid) at Audiohammer Studios in Orlando, Florida .

After forming in the summer of 1998, If Hope Dies quickly came into their own as young dedicated musicians. Hailing from Auburn, New York (also hometown to Heavy Metal Gods Manowar) If Hope Dies showed upstate New York that you can mix metal with hardcore.

In the years since their formation, IHD has progressed into a leader in the genre of metal based hardcore. A 2002 release on Diehard Records entitled "Siege Equipment for Spiritual Decline" has sold over 1200 copies to date with only regional touring. The release solidified the band as a metalcore force to be dealt with.

IHD also takes pride in the energetic and heartfelt approach to their live performance. Fans of metal and hardcore will know these guys love what they do when they see them on stage bringing the rock. If Hope Dies has brought their music and show to the big stage numerous times as they have performed with bands such as In Flames, Lamb Of God, Soilwork and many more. They also earned their way onto Syracuse NY's Hellfest 2001, 2002 and 2003 with some of the industries finest.
