And Hell Followed With Cancels Remaining Tour Dates
January 27, 2009
Upstart Deathcore metallers, And Hell Followed With, have been forced to cancel the remainder of their tour dates with labelmates Whisteria Cottage and Hester Prynne. The band has posted the following update regarding the reasons for the cancellation on their Myspace page:

"The other night, while on our way to Oregon, our van began to fill with smoke and we pulled over immediately. We looked under our van and saw that our van was pissing transmission fluid out the bottom.

After spending the last 2 days running around the hick-ass town we were towed to, spending way too much to find out way too little, we have found that our van is going to cost over $2000 to repair so that we can get home. Because of this, we have decided to not finish the last 10 dates of our tour because we cannot afford for one more mishap with the van to occur.

We are hurting BADLY. Just a week ago, we also had to spend $500 to replace a faulty starter while in Texas. We are hurting severally and LUCKILY our bros in Suffokate have given us a place to crash for the next few days while we wait (in fact, on the way to their pad tonight in Taylor's mini-van, we got a flat and were yet again on the side of the highway hahaha). But we love these dudes and they have helped us out immensely.

Our comeback show to MI is going to be on February 13th, but we are in the process of moving it to another venue. It will still be in the same vicinity. We will have all our new merch, including our hoodies. Please, please, PLEASE, if you are able to, come to this show and buy some merch and help us out. We would appreciate it greatly and it would mean more to us than you can know.

We will keep you guys updated over the next few days. Thanks for all the messages and loving support, guys. See you soon!"

A menacing onslaught of neck-breaking groove and cut-throat brutaility hailing from America's heartland, the Northern Kansas metal outfit known as Hester Prynne cannot be denied. Truely a band to watch for in 2009 - that is, for those who have yet to catch wind of the buzz stirred up from the band you see today's EP debut year in 2008, which alone saw the guys sharing the stage and tour dates with the likes of big hitters such as The Black Dahlia Murder, The Faceless, Darkest Hour, Suicide Silence, Carnifex, Killwhitneydead, Hate Eternal, Decrepit Birth, Abigail Williams, Walls of Jericho, and Veil of Maya just to name a few.

No stranger to change (nor improvement), the now structurely sound line up features none of it's original/founding members, but has still managed to hold strong to the eerie and unconventional sound that has been deeply rooted in the band since it's original conception in 2006.

Hell bent on unleashing it's dark seeded fury upon a nation and beyond of unsuspecting listener's, HP is destined to sway a following of those starved for something aside the fashionist drones flooding the current metal scene. With an image as trend-less as their sound, they are no less a sight for sore eyes than a pleasant offering to the ears of those begging for something as fresh and aggresive as what many will soon come to know as Hester Prynne.

We are honored to have shared the stage with these amazing bands & friends...
