Mychildren Mybride To Tour With Haste The Day This Summer
May 6, 2010
Madison, Alabama's own Mychildren Mybride are pleased to announce that they will be heading out on the road this summer with Haste The Day. Also joining Mychildren Mybride is Upon A Burning Body. The month-long trek begins in Allentown, PA on June 4th, and comes to a close in Marietta, IL on July 2nd. The full listing of tour dates is below.

Mychildren Mybride are poised to release their new full length, entitled 'Lost Boy', June 8th, 2010. The new record is the eagerly-awaited follow up to 2008's critically acclaimed 'Unbreakable'. 'Unbreakable' has sold an impressive 30,000+ copies in the United States alone, and has generated two music videos. Mychildren Mybride's most recently released video for 'On Wings of Integrity,' shot at The Waterfront Tavern in Holyoke, MA, received over 60,000 views in less than 24 hours.

The recently completed 'Lost Boy' was recorded at Glow In The Dark Studio in Atlanta, Georgia by producer Matt Goldman (Underoath, Copeland, and The Chariot). The new record recalls both the vehemence and sincerity of 2008's 'Unbreakable' while progressing in musical maturity. "Musically it's about writing what was in our heads at the moment," Guitarist Robert Bloomfield states. "We went in with the thought of 'if we are going to be playing these songs for the next 2 years on tour then we want them to be really fun for the live show.'"

"From day one," Bloomfield adds, "it was like Matt Goldman was already in our heads. He saw what we wanted and tried to help us create it. The man has the best sense of humor. The most fun I've ever had in a studio." This album is sure to enchant current fans as well as broaden Mychildren Mybride's fan base significantly.

With a hectic touring schedule both leading up to and following the release of 'Lost Boy', Mychildren Mybride are sure to be busy in 2010. In addition to dates with Haste The Day, Mychildren Mybride will be performing at a festival near you. Check out their current tour dates below:

September 28, 2009
Massachusetts modern thrashers All That Remains and xtian rockers The Devil Wears Prada will co-headline the "Napalm & Noise Tour" this winter. The tour will hit both coasts and will feature support from Story Of The Year and Haste The Day, pre-sale is live today at this location, and public on-sale date is Friday 10/2/09 (full tour dates below). Both lead singers for ATR and TDWP commented on the joint tour:

Prada
vocalist Mike Hranica said "We're excited to hit the road with All That Remains, Story Of The Year and Haste The Day. Being a co- headline tour, we'll be able to play a longer set, too, which means more brand new songs off 'With Roots Above and Branches Below'. I'm stoked to be hitting up cities that we haven't played in a while, and playing songs that we haven't had the chance to play within the previous tours."

Phil Labonte
of All That Remains adds, "We're really excited to be hitting the road with a The Devil Wears Prada, Story Of The Year, and Haste The Day. ATR had such a great time playing on The Warped tour in 2008 with both DWP and SOTY were so we're looking forward to the same kind warm reception we got all last summer! We're hoping that ATR fans will come out and check out the other bands and rock with us!"

Massachusetts thrashers ATR have toured all year in the US and Europe with bands like Slipknot and Disturbed and just wrapped the summer Mayhem Tour. They are currently on the road (with Lacuna Coil) for the "HardDrive Live" Inaugural Tour in support of their release 'Overcome', which debuted at #16 on the Billboard Top 200 chart last year and has already sold over 200,000 copies. The band continues to do well at radio with another Top 20 Active Rock single, "Forever in Your Hands." ATR was featured on a special summer cover of Alternative Press as well as previous covers of Revolver and Metal Edge Magazines. The band's music videos are frequently played on MTV2 and Fuse and have tracks featured on both Rock Band and Guitar Hero 2 video games, resulting in over 100,000 additional individual track downloads. Biography
YEAR FORMED: 2001
HOME TOWN: Indianapolis, IN
MEMBERS:
Jimmy Ryan (vocals)
Brennan Chaulk (guitar)
Jason Barnes (guitar)
Mike Murphy (bass)
Devin Chaulk (drums)

If you've driven through the mid-west, youve undoubtedly circled Indianapolis, the capital of Indiana. Known for nearly 100 years for its fast cars, Indianapolis is the central hub for travelers taking the interstate from one coast to the other. Unlike its neighbors, Detroit and Chicago, the city has remained a quiet budding ground for new musical talent. Artists always came through but its only been recently that a band has come out of the states capital that seems to have the potential to put the well traversed city on the map. It was 2001, when inspired by the many underground touring bands that stopped in Indianapolis, that guitarist Brennan Chaulk, bassist Mike Murphy and drummer Devin Chaulk would start what become known as Haste the Day. As a three-piece they began playing shows around their home town for the same reason the bands who came before them did it was fun. "After being a three piece for 6 months we added two other members," recalls Devin. "Jason Barnes, a long time friend, became our second guitarist and Jimmy Ryan became our vocalist." Before showing up for an audition and being asked to join the band, Ryan had never met the members of Haste The Day. Influenced by Carcass' Jeff Walker and ZAO luminary Daniel Weyandt, Ryan added vocal muscle to the bands already hard yet melodic style. The five's combination of influences and personality coalesced together into one of middle America's most exciting up and coming hard bands. Since the bands' inception, Haste the Day made a name for themselves by performing passionate and energetic shows around the country. The band's tour resume consists of some of the most influential and well known bands in the hard music underground. Bands like Sick of it All, Poison the Well, Papa Roach and others have shared the stage with Haste the Day and it was only a matter of time before the band began to be approached by record labels from around the country. After signing with Seattles Solid State Records, the band entered the studio with Barry Poynter (Living Sacrifice, ZAO) and recorded the undeniably heavy "Burning Bridges," a debut album vocalist Jimmy Ryan calls "rock and roll with break downs." Consisting of all new songs, besides the crowd favorite "Substance," "Burning Bridges" is an album full of passion and tension. True, the crowd appealing break downs are in tact but more than that, the band has a handle on melody and its gentle yet prominent control of the band's sound. Apply titled, the bands debut is a story of new beginning, saying goodbye to faulty yet comfortable ways of expression. "We realized in the studio that there was a theme in the lyrics," Devin admits. "A theme of breaking away from the past, whether thats habits, character issues or people permeates the album. We just wanted to burn the bridges to avoid past mistakes." Haste The Day intend on taking 2004 to task like they have years prior with non-stop touring. With a new album of new material and an already established but burgeoning fan base, Haste The Day will have little problem winning over new converts of both rock and roll and fans of hardcore and metal.
