Full Blown Chaos Issue Update
August 21, 2009
Although the past year and a half has been an especially rough time for New York hardcore veterans, Full Blown Chaos, vocalist Ray Mazzola wants fans to know that the band is stronger than ever, and has plans to release a new album in 2010, tentatively called 'Villains'.

“Between being stifled by personal losses and major deaths in all of our families, it was hard to stay on the road and keep focused on the big picture,” explains Mazzola. “Music has a way though, to heal and revitalize the soul through creativity and inspiration. Writing this record has been just that.”

Full Blown Chaos
is currently finishing up the writing process for the new album, and will head into the studio for preproduction within the next couple of weeks. Formally a four-piece band, Full Blown Chaos has added a second guitarist for the upcoming release, and plan to take full advantage of the new opportunities that the fresh line-up has to offer.

“Being a five-piece now has its benefits, and we are fine tuning it all. This record is going to decimate everything we have released to date, and beat the piss out of the bullshit being praised today. It's not enough to step up to the plate and contend for individuality, you need to knock it out of the park and show everyone what the fuck is up.”

Stay tuned to the Full Blown Chaos MySpace page for in-studio video updates when the band enters the studio in the next few weeks.

Full Blown Chaos Euro And U.S. Tour Details
December 2, 2008
Volcanoes are not the only things that lay dormant for a while and then erupt violently. Ferret Music's Full Blown Chaos has returned from a long break from the road with a monster tour in Europe. On November 28th, they started the Santa Slaughter tour where they will be the direct support to Bury Your Dead. They will be joined on the road by Emmure with additional support from Devil Sold His Soul, Time Has Come, The Boy Will Drown and Your Demise on select dates.

Full Blown Chaos have also announced their upcoming tour in January with Reign Supreme, Trapped Under Ice, and Dirty Money. The tour will run from January 2nd to January 24th and include dates in the US, Canada, and Mexico. Singer Ray Mazzola said, "We're excited to get back out; we were having a great time on the headlining tour with The Breathing Process and on the shows that did happen with Shai Hulud we had a great time as well. It was very welcoming because we were off tour for quite a few months before that. Now having been off tour again for a few months, it'll be nice to get out and play some new music and see some people that we haven't seen for some time, especially with an updated lineup."

The tour in Europe will be Full Blown Chaos' first full tour without founding member Mike Facci on guitar. They've enlisted long time friend and guitar tech Mark Gumbrecht to take his place on the road and will tour with a second guitarist as a five piece, adding a new dimension to their punishing metal infused hardcore sound. They are not just touring in support of 'Heavy Lies The Crown', their 2007 Ferret Music debut. They're also gearing up for a new album. Mazzola continued, "We're not shunning 'Heavy Lies the Crown'. In my mind, every one of those songs has a special meaning to me. This new album is going to be just as important as a record lyrically and the music we're writing now is regular Full Blown Chaos but more, more technical and more dynamic with Mark in the band now."

Biography
YEAR FORMED: 2001
HOME TOWN: Floral Park, New York
MEMBERS:
Ray Mazzola-Vocals Mike Facci-Guitar Jeff Facci-Drums Mike Ruehle aka "Lurk"-Bass

On October 19th 2004 Stillborn Records recording artist Full Blown Chaos released Wake the Demons since then they have taken their legendary and brutal live performances on the road with such acts as HATEBREED, SLIPKNOT, TERROR, SICK OF IT ALL, MADBALL, HIMSA, NAPALM DEATH & many others.

Songs of inner-strength backed with riffage that hug hairpin turns and a dynamite-triggering rhythm section. Full Blown Chaos is a roaring sonic blitzkrieg with more to offer than the tired tough guy mentality!
2005 found the quartet dishing out their blend of bone cracking hardcore with puncturing metal on their first full-length album titled Wake The Demons . The experience is a bona fide thrill ride of chest pounding yet gripping sing-along screams from front man and lyricist Ray Mazzola along with the persuasive guitar megalomania of Mike Facci coupled with grenade popping drums of brother Jeff Facci; and finally, the crushingly infernal live show is crowned by the determined and vivacious bass performance of Mike "Lurk" Ruehle.

Full Blown Chaos is the strong contender for glory in today's extreme music scene. With two EPs under their belts, the self-titled DIY 2001 EP--- later released on Jailhouse Records (Former bassist Ed Conroy's label). Then, in 2003 Jailhouse Records along with Stillborn Records (Hatebreed front man and MTV2 Headbanger's Ball host Jamey Jasta) adopted the New York-based band for the rake-you-over-the- coals forceful Prophet Of Hostility release.

FBC vocalist Ray Mazzola's influences include metal icons Philip Anselmo and Max Cavalera whose inspiration propelled the serendipitous circumstances under which FBC first kicked off their career.

We all knew each for a long time, a couple of years ago my old band and Full Blown were sharing a rehearsal studio, eventually we did a switch of vocalists and I joined Full Blown because I was as serious as they were. In fact, serious is an understatement! Full Blown Chaos raises the bar as far as most bands go in the realm of touring. In 2005 alone FBC played over 200 shows with bands like Superjoint Ritual, Sepultura, Chimaira, God Forbid and even landing a few dates on The Jagermeister Tour with Slipknot and Fear Factory. Ray explains, We have very good breeding musically, I was big into hardcore, big into metal, and that goes for the entire band.

Wake The Demons is a testament to Full Blown's prowess for brazen hard-core breakdowns and walls of cringing metal with Slayer-like speed and agility. Needless to say, that is what celebrated producer Zeuss has harnessed on Wake The Demons and now in 2006 on their bombastic follow up "Within The Grasp Of Titans" producer/engineer Eric Rachel have taken Full Blown chaos to all new heights of sonic brutality with sense of versatility underlined with a guttural, in-your-face execution. The whole direction of the band is to keep a wide range of music, not to necessarily pigeonhole ourselves into metal or hardcore.
As a lyricist, Ray matches the musical intensity with fire-starting integrity and describes it as, Very aggressive", for instance, we have a song called Unlearn,' it's about not having to conform to please other people. Make up your own mind, you don't have to be part of a group to be accepted, I am for unity, but you can be an individual and still be accepted, he sums.
