Threat Signal
has just kicked off a headlining tour with The Agonist, Flatline and Thy Will Be Done. Dubbed the "Road to Revision", the run will be followed by another headlining trek this July with The Autumn Offering, The Agonist and Sybreed. During this tour, Threat Signal will be debuting material from 'Vigilance'.

Commented vocalist Jon Howard: "This tour is really special to us because we will be debuting five songs from our new album within an hour-long performance. I'm really excited to see how the fans react to the new material. It's a very solid tour package with The Agonist, Flatline, and Thy Will Be Done, so the show is strong from beginning to end. This will be a heavy, brutal tour with lots of drinks and good times! We'll have our camera rolling for a DVD so put on your metal face and come rock out."

In a recent interview with Spine Language blog, Jon Howard stated about Threat Signal's decision to play new, as-yet-unreleased material as part of the band's current live performance, "We feel that we've been playing the same show for too long. We've been playing songs from 'Under Reprisal' for almost five years! The reactions have been amazing so far. Sometimes it feels as if they know the songs already! So with that said we have totally broken the rule. We are playing five songs from the new album, 'Vigilance', and six from 'Under Reprisal'. So you get a good blend of new and old. I think people are craving new shit, so even if they do stand and nod their head, I don't care, I know they are just taking it all in!!"

Straight Line Stitch Guitarist Checks In From The Road
March 2, 2009
Straight Line Stitch guitarist, Seth Thacker, has posted the following update on the band's Official Myspace Blog:

"Hey, Seth here with SLS. So we just finished up a hella long headlining tour that just ended in southern CA. This tour was indeed a killer time. We did the first half with our friends in Occam's Razor and finished it out with our new pals in Flatline. Other than touring with some killer bands we got to see some old friends and make new ones along the way. Thanks to all of you who came out to a show on this past tour...we love you all and we will see ya very soon.

Gotta give a huge shout-out to the kind folk over at 1st Amendment Tattoo in Temecula, CA for hooking all of us up with some killer tattoos. Looking forward to seeing you all again real soon.

Since we are here in LA right now we are going to shoot 2 videos in the morning. We are for sure shooting the vid for "What You Do To Me"...we are still in the process of figuring out what song to do the 2nd vid for. It will be as much of a surprise to all of you as it is for us.

We head home in 2 days for some much need R&R. Then we head right back out again on the 19th. Starting in Mississippi with Trivium. Looking forward to getting back out on the road to kick it with all of ya!!"

Straight Line Stitch's video for the song, "Black Veil", directed by Dale "Rage" Resteghini (Hatebreed, Shadows Fall, Mudvayne), can be viewed below. The song comes off the band's debut album, 'When Skies Wash Ashore', which was released last summer via Koch/Raging Nation Records.

LOS ANGELES based FLATLINE, is carving their way to the top of the world of skull-crushing metal. The guys have been featured in the May 2006 issue of Revolver Magazine, shared the stage with such acts as GOD FORBID and have already powered their way into LA's metal scene with appearances at the famed Whisky, The Troubadour and every major club in between. In addition to exploding the high-powered local metal scene, FLATLINE amped up summer ག with the release of their album “Massive Aggressive’ and a multi-city U.S. "Malicious Intent" tour. With domestic success under their belts, the band continued their summer by traveling to Auckland, New Zealand to play the "666 - Metal Day Out" festival and then to tour the entire northern island. FLATLINE again showcased their brutal live stage performance in the spring of ’07 with tour of the U.S. including the Milwaukee Metal Fest XIX in support of their latest effort, “The Process of Healing. Other noteworthy accomplishments for the year included sharing the Ozzfest Off Days bill with Century Media up-and-comers In This Moment, and also winning the California division of the national Project Independent Showcase competition.

2008 kicked off with a bang when FLATLINE signed a deal with Stand and Deliver records. With no end to their determination, FLATLINE begins recording their new studio album in February with former Machine Head and Soulfly guitarist Logan Mader at the helm. The merging of such powerful creative forces guarantees a metal album that will be compared to the best of all time. As the crew sets their sights on even more success, FLATLINE, along with Stand and Deliver Records, plan to engulf all major cities across the United States this year.

Sponsored by Floyd Rose, Coffin Case, Evil Threads, Monster Energy and Sik World, FLATLINE are also making their mark in the world of metal with the help of the Internet. The band's Myspace page, www.myspace.com/flatlinemetal, has racked up over 250,000 hits and over 18,000 fan comments. LA's Rock City News took notice and awarded the band "Outstanding New Band" at their 11th annual awards show in 2006. FLATLINE was also identified as one of the best independent artists in the country, by the renowned Independent Artists Registry, by being one of 34 bands out of 4,000 chosen for a 2006 sponsorship.

FLATLINE features five unique musical talents linked by a single passion--unadulterated metal. Lead vocalist TRAVIS JOHNSON's hauntingly personal lyrics and powerful delivery give FLATLINE its unrivaled edge. RANDY WEITZEL brings not only his songwriting and guitar talents, but a drive destined to carry FLATLINE far. Although guitarist JOE 'PAULO' GUERRA's metal tendencies are deeply rooted, he has influences in a variety of musical genres broadening the band's sound and style. Bassist HECTOR GONZALEZ adds an inspired style and solid stage presence to the rhythm section and drummer TIM HASSEMER puts a brutal and relentless musical pummeling at the core of FLATLINE's music.

FLATLINE's music is a rarity in this day of drop tuning and one finger chords. Real metal with an old-school thrash feel, FLATLINE’s definitely a band we will be hearing more of!
