H20 Supporting Dropkick Murphy's On Tour
February 16, 2009
Kicking off 2009 on one of the most high profile tours of the year, H2O plays their first show on Friday, February 29th in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Palladium with Dropkick Murphys and Civet. Vocalist Toby Morse said, "Touring with the Dropkicks is going to be a great time. I can't think of a more perfect way to kick off 2009!"

H20 will be back out on the road supporting their newest and perhaps most celebrated release, 'Nothing To Prove'. 'Nothing To Prove' hit stores this year on Boston-based Bridge Nine Records and debuted at #7 on the Billboard Heatseeksers chart. H20 followed up their amazing debut by touring Europe, the US, and Canada several times over, and co-headlining their first full US tour in years with Bane.

The band also heated up the press with features in Alternative Press Magazine, AMP Magazine, Revolver Magazine, Outburn Magazine, Inked Magazine, and more, and secured cover features in Hails and Horns and Define The Meaning. The band also appeared on Fuse TV as special guests on Steven's Untitled Rock Show – what a whirlwind year.

If you think 2008 was a huge success for the band, 2009 is only going to be better. There's no question that H20 is back, in full effect, and have nothing to prove. Stay tuned for more announcements from H20 and Bridge Nine Records and check the confirmed tour dates with Dropkick Murphys below!

Civet On Tour With Dropkick Murphys
February 6, 2009
Never ones to shy away from testosterone-laden road trips, the girls of Civet are taking their punk rock show on the road once again with Dropkick Murphys, beginning on February 20 at the newly restored historic Hollywood Palladium.

Civet have honed their chops supporting Dropkick Murphys last year, as well as tours and shows with labelmates Rancid and Tiger Army and dark rockers Aiden, who Graves described as "our dark and scary rock n roll male equivalent," possibly because of both band's taste for black eyeliner.

Civet's Hellcat Records debut, 'Hell Hath No Fury', came out last fall, and the girls have not stopped working since. Like Runaways-era Joan Jett channeling Motorhead, the brash and tattooed chicks are proving that they can hold their own with any all-guy bands out there today.

Dropkick Murphys formed in 1996 in Boston, MA. The band was originally just a bunch of friends looking to play music for fun. We started playing in the basement of a friend's barbershop and our goal was to blend the musical influences we had grown up with (Punk Rock, Irish Folk, Rock, and Hardcore) into one loud, raucous, chaotic, and often out of tune mix that we could call our own.

To our surprise people seemed to liked it and we began to record music and tour constantly. To date we have released over ten singles, two EP CD, and four Full Length albums and have had the good fortune of being able to play across a large portion of the world. We are truly grateful to the many friends and bands that have helped us out and supported us along the way in the US, Canada, Europe, U.K. Ireland, Scandinavia, and Australia as well as the many countries we look forward to playing in the next century.

The bands' main goal is to play music that creates an all for one, one for all environment where everyone is encouraged to participate, sing along, and hopefully have a good time. In the true spirit of punk rock we view the band and the audience as one in the same; in other words our stage and our microphone are yours.

In addition to hopefully bringing people together for a good time, we hope to share some of our experiences and beliefs in working class solidarity, friendship, loyalty and self- improvement as a means to bettering society (i.e. You can preach till you're blue in the face but if you're lying in the gutter no one's gonna listen. If you pick yourself up by the bootstraps and live your life to the best of your ability you may set an example that others will follow).
