Knights of the Abyss have announced three new tours that will keep the band on the road for the next three months. They’ll be out on the road headlining the
To Hell and Back Tour with
Broadcast the Nightmare and
The Irish Front from June 10th through July 19th, then with
Suffokate,
Blind Witness,
This or The Apocalypse¸ and
Wretched from August 6ththrough September 10th. Immediately at the end of that tour, they’ll go out with
Cryptopsy,
Rose Funeral and
Salt the Wound from September 11th through September 19th. Dates for the tours can be found below, as well as on the band’s
Myspace page.
Knights of the Abyss are anxious to get out on the road and show off their new lineup and new material. The band has recently made several member changes, welcoming back
Dustin on vocals who sang on the band’s first album
'Juggernaut', and bringing in
Griffin (bass),
Brian (guitar), and
James (drums) from other AZ bands
The Blood Countess and
Depiction of a Massacre.
“We know it’s a different lineup and that’s a lot to take, but we’re stronger than ever. Just come out and see us live, let us prove to you that
Knights of the Abyss is more solid than it's ever been”. bassist
Griffin commented.
The band recently started pre-production for their next album for release early 2010 and has posted a new pre-pro track “
Pandemic” on their myspace page. After the tour with
Cryptopsy, they will enter the studio to record their sophomore full length for
Ferret Music.
