Crime In Stereo Announce Tour Dates w/ Streetlight Manifesto
April 28, 2010
Long Island natives, Crime In Stereo, released their sophomore Bridge Nine full-length, 'I Was Trying To Describe You To Someone', in February and have been touring the states in support ever since. Today, Crime In Stereo is pleased to announce a summer run with Streetlight Manifesto in late July. Tour dates can be found below. The guys of CIS played their last headlining show in St. Louis last night before taking a short break between tours. Come May 12th, Crime In Stereo will kick off a two-week US tour with The Swellers and This Time Next Year, before crossing the pond with Wounds + Sharks for a headlining European jaunt. Needless to say, Crime In Stereo will be keeping busy throughout 2010. Be sure to catch Crime In Stereo showcasing new songs live in a city near you.

Once known for being a melodic hardcore band, Crime In Stereo broke through any and all genre defining boundaries in creating 'Describe', a haunting album that perfectly laces together experimental grunge-rock with the punk roots from which the band came. This new sound and direction has fans and press alike praising 'I Was Trying To Describe You To Someone', with www.PunkNews.org raving, "If this is the new hardcore, sign me up for more." If you haven't done so already, head to a store near you to pick up a copy of 'I Was Trying To Describe You To Someone' and own the album that "...should by all means, turn the head of every avid music fan who got into this kind of music when it first began" (The Music The Message).

Crime In Stereo Announce East Coast Shows
December 10, 2009
In anticipation of the February 2010 CD/LP/Digital release of 'I Was Trying To Describe You To Someone', Crime In Stereo is pleased to announce a string of headline shows in Philadelphia, New York City and Boston during their album release week. "This is by far our biggest accomplishment as a band," says the band's guitarist, Alex Dunne, of their new material. "It's not just our best record; it's leaps and bounds beyond everything we've done previously. We've never been this excited to release a record and can't wait for you to hear it." 'I Was Trying To Describe You To Someone' is set to hit stores on February 23, 2010 via Bridge Nine Records.

Named one of Alternative Press' Most Anticipated Releases of 2010, 'I Was Trying To Describe You To Someone' is a career-defining album. Recorded in the summer months of 2009, 'I Was Trying To Describe You To Someone' is the second collaboration between the band and producer extraordinaire Mike Sapone, following up to the critically acclaimed 'Is Dead'. Released in 2007, 'Is Dead' was hailed by fans as well as critics as "some of the most ambitious, stunning songwriting melodic hardcore has witnessed in years" (Alternative Press) and as "a great album, full stop" (Big Cheese in the UK).

While expectations regarding whether the band could surpass the standard they set with 'Is Dead' have been great, Crime In Stereo's hard work alongside Sapone on their upcoming album has achieved exactly that: 'I Was Trying To Describe You To Someone' dramatically transcends anything the band has released to date and is an early contender for one of the finest rock albums of the year.

Between recording sessions, Crime In Stereo has spent this year playing shows with the likes of New Found Glory, Four Year Strong, Have Heart and Strike Anywhere, and most recently toured with Brand New, Thrice, and Glassjaw.

Tickets for the upcoming East Coast Crime In Stereo shows will be on sale this Friday, December 11th. Show dates are below.
