Montreal based extreme metallers Kataklysm are pleased to announce, in cooperation with Decibel Magazine and, the North American leg of their Spread the Venom 2010 2011 World Tour. Joining them in the direct support slot will be groove laden death shredders All Shall Perish, Decrepit Birth, Conducting From The Grave, and Abysmal Dawn. This will be just a part of a massive worldwide tour, that is rumored to be the bands last before a much needed break from the bands extensive performance schedule.

"In just about a month we will embark on Kataklysm's longest one way headlining stretch crossing four continents in nearly 20 years, commented vocalist Maurizio Iacono. Heaven's Venom has been welcomed with open arms by fans and critics alike across the globe. As I mentioned before in interviews, Heavens Venom is a very personal, aggressive and dark Kataklysm album that hits home. We love this album and want to share its anger with our fans! We want to play places we have never been before and also revisit our loyal supporters while creating some new fans along the way. One thing we know, is that this will be the only time you will be able to see the band on this record or for a long time. So dont say Ill catch them the next time because there might not be a next time. We are thinking of taking along break after this massive trek and who knows what will happen next. November 12, 2010

Arsis vocalist/guitarist Jim Malone commented:
"We have been scheming among ourselves for quite a while about this, and now it's finally going to happen. We rehearsed the full version of A Diamond For Disease last week and it came together even better than we had hoped! It needed the right tour and the right point in the life of the band, and we would not do it at all unless it was perfect. We're finally there. So everybody who's been asking us to play the entire thing every night for years and years... you finally get your (poisonous) medicine this December!"

Arsis Announce North American Headline Tour
September 25, 2010
Virginia-based melodic tech death metal masters, Arsis, are pleased to announce their headlining tour set to take place this upcoming December! "A Tour for the Sick" is presented by and will include 8 bit metal heroes Powerglove and the Sumerian Records touring juggernaut Conducting From The Grave. Arsis vocalist/guitarist Jim Malone commented:

"What does a band that is notorious for canceling tours, video game induced tendinitis, and a Noah Martin look-a-like all have in common? If you have spent the better part of your existence trying to play 16th triplet arpeggios at 250 bpm you will probably be overcome with joy (or something) to hear that we (meaning Arsis dudes), Powerglove, and Conducting From The Grave are teaming up for a US tour this December. We are beyond stoked for our first headlining tour in support of 'Starve for the Devil' and hope to see you at one (or more) of the tour dates. We promise to 'turn up the hell' on this one and make your weekend (or week night) one that is 'rock hard' and metalificated."

HOME TOWN: Sacramento, CA
Mike Powell - Vocals
Greg Donnelly - Drums
Jeff Morgan - Guitar
John Abernathy - Guitar
Steven Lovas - Bass

Conducting From The Grave formed in the fall of 2003 from members and ex-members of local Sacramento bands With Passion, Promising Tomorrow and others. By mid 2004 a solid line-up had been established: John Abernathy on guitar, Gregory Donnelly (formerly of Promising Tomorrow) on drums, Jeffrey Morgan (formerly of With Passion) on guitar, Philip Williamson on bass, and Shaun Gier (guitarist of With Passion) on vocals. In October 2004 Conducting From The Grave released their first recording, a 4-song demo entitled "Breathe The Blackened Sky."

Then in early 2005 Shaun had to leave the band to dedicate more time to his other band (With Passion) who had just signed to Earache Records. Shaun was quickly succeeded by new vocalist Drew Winter (formerly of Murder at Hand). By this time they had established a significant following in Northern California and were ready to hit the studio in preparation for the April 2005 release of their debut EP, "Trials Of The Forsaken". Conducting From The Grave then spent the summer of ཁ touring the US in support of the release. When the band returned home Phil Williamson decided to leave the band to persue personal interests.

In the following weeks Conducting From The Grave decided to part ways with Drew Winter as well. Drew then went on to become the vocalist for Debello Castrum. In the process of searching for new members, the band discovered that their good friends With Passion had also recently suffered a severe loss of members. Due to the bands having shared some of the same members previously, John Abernathy, Jeff Morgan, and Greg Donnelly decided to join forces with Michael Nordeen and Shaun Gier (the two remaining members of With Passion) to form a new line-up as With Passion on Earache Records...

...2 years later, John, Jeff and Greg decided to leave the ever-struggling band known as With Passion. Drew, John, Jeff and Greg all agreed to reunite the band. Steven Lovas, whom filled Michael Nordeens shoes in With Passion after his departure, joined the band on bass. Conducting From The Grave fully reunited and started playing again in November 2007. The band is currently recording their debut full-length album and is expected to spend the majority of 2008 on the road.
