Skinless Announce Classic Line Up Reunion Show
April 15, 2010
Skinless' classic line-up of Sherwood Webber (vocals), Noah Carpenter (guitars), Joe Keyser (bass), and Bob Beaulac (drums) will re-unite for a special one-off show on June 19th at Northern Lights in Clifton Park, NY. This is the line-up featured on the band's 'Progression Towards Evil' and 'Foreshadowing Our Demise' albums. Co-headlining this show will be Burning Human, featuring Jason Bittner of Shadows Fall, with tickets for the event going on sale tomorrow, April 16th. For more information, please visit www.NorthernLightsLive.com and www.StepUpPresents.com.

"I don't know exactly how it came about or where it's going but Skinless will be playing a killer show with the classic lineup...," commented Webber, "I don't know how to describe the Upstate, New York scene accurately to the outsider but those who lived it know exactly what I'm talking about. Any of the NYHC and death metal bands can tell you how insane the scene was in the late '90s. Troy-core, death metal, hardcore, straight edge bands -- all friends, all purveyors of different styles with the common ground of the scene. Ted Etoll [Step Up Presents] was largely responsible for promoting and developing tons of bands and Skinless was one of them. He's been a long time friend, mentor and brother and I look forward to the show with huge excitement. It's going to rule. I'm also exited to rejoin my Skinless brothers for a show with our long time friends Burning Human. The Upstate Scene is like no other on the planet and to return for a sick show like this is a dream come true! Definitely some cataclysmic metal events on the horizon!"

Skinless released their latest album, 'Trample The Weak, Hurdle The Dead' in 2006. Audio samples taken from the release can be heard via the band's official Myspace page. Webber, who currently resides in Colorado, has been hard at work with his new band Enemy Reign (www.EnemyReign.com). Carpenter is also involved in a new project called Armor Column (www.myspace.com/armorcolumnny).

Updated Skinless news / tour information will be made available via www.relapse.com and the Skinless Myspace page at www.myspace.com/skinless.

Burning Human Video Banned by MTV2's Headbangers Ball
August 10, 2009
Tormented Mind,” the controversial new music video from death metal outfit Burning Human has been banned by MTV2’s Headbangers Ball. After Burning Human refused to edit their new video, MTV said the video was “too violent” for airing.

Guitarist Mike Stack had this to say: “The fine folks at MTV banned our video for the song 'Tormented Mind' claiming it was "too violent". As much as we love Headbangers Ball, we think its way more metal to be BANNED BY MTV!!! So click here (or simply scroll down) to watch the video of 'Tormented Mind' that MTV didn't want you to see, and decide for yourself.”

The video can be seen below in its intended entirety via YouTube. Burning Human’s new self-titled album is available now in-stores.

Burning Human To Release Debut Album, Announce Live Dates
March 19, 2009
New York-based extreme metal band, Burning Human, has completed work on its debut album, titled 'Resurrection Through Fire'. The record will drop on April 21, 2009 via E1 Music (formerly Koch Records).

'Resurrection Through Fire' administers ten frighteningly intense tracks of underground death metal that inflict lethal doses of crushing brutality, relentless speed and blast-furnace vocal power with a surgical precision. The album was tracked at The Recording Company in New York with Tim Lynch and Rick Sullivan and was produced and mixed by famed metal guitarist James Murphy (Obituary, Death, Testament, Disincarnate) -- who also contributed a number of blistering guest guitar solos to the record -- at Florida’s SafeHouse Productions Studios. 'Resurrection through Fire'’s artwork was designed by renowned metal artist Bjoern Goosses (Amon Amarth, Job for a Cowboy, Leng Tch'e, Zyklon).

Originally formed in 1995, Burning Human features in its ranks current Shadows Fall drumming sensation Jason Bittner who delivers his most impressive performance to date on the record. Long known as one of metal’s best drummers, Bittner has graced the covers of the world’s top drumming magazines over the course of his career, including DRUM!, DRUMMER, Modern Drummer, and Rhythm. Among his many accolades, Bittner has topped the polls as both DRUM! and Modern Drummer’s “#1 Metal Drummer” and has won DRUM!’s “#1 Rising Drumming Star” award. The speed and intensity of Burning Human's music has allowed Bittner to demonstrate the full range of his playing ability as he deals lightning-fast fills, hyperactive double bass footwork and punishing blast beats in spades.

In support of 'Resurrection Through Fire', Burning Human has announced a number of U.S. live performances including a special appearance at the 2009 New England Metal and Hardcore Festival, where the band will share the stage with Lamb of God, Napalm Death, Suffocation and more amongst the fest’s featured acts. A full listing of upcoming Burning Human live dates follows this message.

On the topic of the album, Bittner comments, “After 10 years lying in a dormant state, I am quite excited about that fact that Burning Human is finally going to release 'Resurrection Through Fire' with a proper label, and will back it with live dates! This band really never got a proper chance way back in the day, due mostly in part to my constant search for a "touring band." Fast forward to 2009, and obviously my "touring band" desires are well taken care of with Shadows Fall, and since we won’t be busy until later this year, I now have some time to really dedicate myself to Burning Human. I'm extremely happy with this record. I'm really proud of the music and the performances and I hope the people out there will enjoy it as well!"

A taste of what 'Resurrection Through Fire' holds in store can be heard now as the Burning Human song “Self-Inflicted Crucifixion” has been posted online at this location. The album can be pre-ordered now by visiting this location.

The final track listing for 'Resurrection Through Fire' is as follows:
