Bring Me The Horizon Set To Unleash 'Heaven And Hell'
August 17, 2010
Bring Me The Horizon are preparing to release their new album, 'There Is A Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is A Heaven, Let's Keep It A Secret', scheduled for release on October 5 via Epitaph Records. BMTH will co-headline the AP Tour Fall 2010 tour with August Burns Red.

The team at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden (where they previously recorded 2008's smash 'Suicide Season') were again at the helm of the recording, this time bringing in electronic and programming authority KC Blitz to assist with the instrumental aspects of the album. The album also includes appearances from various special guests, including Josh Franceschi of You Me At Six (on 'Fuck') who stated "I'm really excited to be part of this record as it's going to turn some heads, and that's what music is all about."

Also featured on the album is Josh Scogin of The Chariot (on 'The Fox And The Wolf') - "This album's so good, it made my chest hurt!", Sonny Moore aka Skrillex with electronica contributions - "Oli and I started the collaborations on this album in a very natural way, just bouncing ideas off each other like we often do over the internet. I did a little programming, and he asked me to come down to the studio to do some additional vocals. I think it turned out amazing" and Canadian electro-pop starlet Lights (on 'Crucify Me' and 'Don't Go').

'There Is A Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is A Heaven, Let's Keep It A Secret'
is, in many ways, a concept album. Frontman Oli Sykes vividly explores humanity's collective good nature and the celestial euphoria associated with love, lust, truth and desire; this is balanced by the darkness and evil that is likely buried deep inside all of us. Lyrically and musically, the album is the band's most honest work to date as Sykes lays bare his fears, weaknesses and anger, which is just one layer on this truly progressive and advanced third album.

Bring Me The Horizon Enter The Studio
March 25, 2010
UK scene band Bring Me The Horizon have entered the studio to record their anticipated follow-up to the band's breakthrough 2008 album Suicide Season, which Epitaph Records recently released as a Deluxe Edition in the US.

Having spent the past few months holed up in their Sheffield rehearsal studio writing material for their third studio album, Bring Me The Horizon have entered Sweden's Studio Fredman where they are once again working with famed metal producer Frederik Nordstrom (Arch Enemy, Opeth, At The Gates) on their yet to be titled album which is due for release August 2010.

"2009 was one hell of a year, non-stop for us really," says infamous frontman Oli Sykes. "Our second album Suicide Season has taken us further than we ever thought was possible. I think we found our unique sound with that album and the next is going to be using Suicide Season as a base, but pushing it further in every single way imaginable. It's happening with Fredrick Nordstrom again, since he made us sound so amazing last time - all very exciting, stay tuned!"

"We've spent the last few months writing new material for the 3rd album and we are stoked as hell on what we've penned," adds guitarist Jona Weinhofen. "This will also be my first recording with the band and I'm definitely excited to be working on something new and so different to my previous works. We've taken in a broad array of influences during the writing period and I think it will show on this album more than ever before. Fans can expect new ideas, experimentation and more adventurous production. We've really focused on our song structures and keeping the songs catchy and listenable. But don't freak out! It's still the BMTH you know and love, and there will be plenty of heavy, fast riffing and plenty of breakdowns to keep your fists pounding and your heads banging!"

Bring Me The Horizon
are currently hard at work in the first week of their recording schedule having almost completed drum tracking. The band will also film a series of studio diaries and short documentaries which will be released soon and will be available to view on the bands Myspace page and website.

Bring Me The Horizon Announce Suicide Season's Return
March 11, 2010
As Scene newcomers Bring Me The Horizon begin work on their next opus, they leave fans with a brutal reminder of why they're taking over the sub-genre in 2010. On April 13, Epitaph Records will release an exclusive Deluxe Edition of BMTH's 2008 fan-coveted, breakthrough album Suicide Season. The three disc collection will feature the original album, 14 remixed tracks and a DVD with four music videos and a ferocious, never before seen live show from Mexico City.

Currently, fans can check out the new trailer (see below) for the Deluxe Edition of Suicide Season and pre-order the must-have collection.

Influenced by the band's love of electronica, BMTH invited their favorite DJs, bands and musicians, including The Secret Handshake, Travis McCoy (Gym Class Heroes), Ben Weinman (The Dillinger Escape Plan), M. Shawn Crahan (Slipknot), among others, to remix Suicide Season in their own aural vision. The result is 14 hard-hitting, electro-metal-mashed tracks that will have headbangers dancing and club kids moshing along to the beats.

Fans and critics can witness the unadulterated chaos and mayhem first hand with an exclusive, never before seen complete live performance from an overcapacity venue in Mexico City, three high energy live videos from a show in Siberia, Russia and their four wildly popular music videos for "The Comedown," "Chelsea Smile," "Diamonds Aren't Forever" and "The Sadness Will Never End."

Bring Me The Horizon is defining the sound of modern metal as we know it with their urgently dark, epic new album, There Is A Hell, Believe Me I’ve Seen It. There Is A Heaven, Let’s Keep It A Secret, scheduled for release on October 5 via Epitaph Records. Beginning today, fans are invited to pre-order the new album at KingsRoadMerch.com/Epitaph-Records and check out a new trailer for the record at MySpace.com/BMTH. BMTH will unleash Hell on fans this fall when they co-headline the AP Tour Fall 2010 tour with August Burns Red.

After the commercial and critical success of previous album Suicide Season (2008), BMTH were determined to explore the more experimental side of their music, refusing to be confined to the unwritten rules of the Metalcore scene that spawned and catapulted them to worldwide domination. From the progressive opening riff and digital manipulation of choristers in the epic ‘Crucify Me’, to the violins of ‘Don’t Go’, to instrumental track ‘Memorial’, it quickly becomes clear that this is an album like no other.

The band locked themselves away in a lochside mansion deep in rural Scotland for the majority of the writing period, and, free from distractions, the band were able to push their writing further than ever. Yet the album still includes the trademark elements that have become staples of BMTH’s sound since 2006 – precision guitar riffs, venomously dark lyrics, massive breakdowns and gang vocals destined to be chants at the band’s incendiary live shows.

The team at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden (where they previously recorded 2008’s smash Suicide Season) were again at the helm of the recording, this time bringing in electronic and programming authority KC Blitz to assist with the instrumental aspects of the album. The album also includes appearances from various special guests, including Josh Franceschi of You Me At Six (on ‘Fuck’) who stated “I’m really excited to be part of this record as it's going to turn some heads, and that's what music is all about.”

Also featured on the album is Josh Scogin of The Chariot (on ‘The Fox And The Wolf’) – “This album's so good, it made my chest hurt!”, Sonny Moore aka Skrillex with electronica contributions – “Oli and I started the collaborations on this album in a very natural way, just bouncing ideas off each other like we often do over the internet. I did a little programming, and he asked me to come down to the studio to do some additional vocals. I think it turned out amazing” and Canadian electro-pop starlet LIGHTS (on ‘Crucify Me’ and ‘Don’t Go’).

There Is A Hell, Believe Me I’ve Seen It. There Is A Heaven, Let’s Keep It A Secret is, in many ways, a concept album. Frontman Oli Sykes vividly explores humanity’s collective good nature and the celestial euphoria associated with love, lust, truth and desire; this is balanced by the darkness and evil that is likely buried deep inside all of us. Lyrically and musically, the album is the band’s most honest work to date as Sykes lays bare his fears, weaknesses and anger, which is just one layer on this truly progressive and advanced third album.
