Ignominious Incarceration Kicks Off Shows With The Red Chord
July 8, 2009
British death metallers Ignominious Incarceration are set to kick off a string of shows in the UK tonight with American extreme metal act The Red Chord, before heading out on the Masters Of Metal tour with The Boy Will Drown, Bleed From Within and The Argent Dawn.

Drummer Sam Bailey comments: "The Red Chord dates are gonna be a lotta fun, we played with them a couple years ago when we were starting out and to this date it was one of the most fun shows we've ever played. Last time the venue we played was in Yeovil and everyone went down a massive ski slope next to the venue in rubber rings. So there ya go. We're gonna be filming everything, drinking a lot more than likely, so come say "what's up", buy some merch and the album, and party!"

Bassist Chris Ball adds: "We're really pumped after how great the show was we did with them back in 2007, the crowd were amazing and so were The Red Chord. These are the sort of shows we've been needing after the release of our album! We're gonna play hard and party just as hard! The Red Chord have had some influence on our music and it will be amazing to share the stage again. Everybody come to the shows and bang your heads and show them how the UK like to party!"

Bath death metallers Ignominious Incarceration, who recently played a special headlining show at the Underworld in London with support from technical death metallers The Boy Will Drown, are now once again teaming up with their label-mates for a UK tour.

Ignominious Incarceration
will be headlining the Masters Of Metal tour with support from The Boy Will Drown, along with Bleed From Within and The Argent Dawn.

Ignominious Incarceration

Not to mention touring with amazing dudes, we are hitting some of our favourite venues in the country, which means the antics that will take place over this 7 day UK tour will be legendary. Everything will be recorded and documented over our YouTube page, from the pits and gigs to the drinking and antics. You seriously can't miss this tour!"

Biography
YEAR FORMED: 2005
HOME TOWN: Glasgow, Scottland
MEMBERS:
Scott Kennedy - Vocals
Dave Lennon - Guitar
Craig Gowans - Guitar
Davie Provan - Bass
Ali Richardson - Drums

Formed in 2005, Bleed From Within geared their mind toward a sound that could be recognized as individual in a music scene that was seeing so much of the same material.

Constant gigs over the past 3 years, and a self produced debut EP, seen them gather a following of dedicated fans, who have showed endless support since the start of this journey. Tours all over UK and Europe, each one of them displaying the tight, and cutting live sets that are always associated with the band.

"Humanity" has captured the bands ideals perfectly, combining power and brutality with groove and finesse. With the new album hitting shelves in Summer 09, fans and haters alike, can prepare themselves for a masterful debut.

This is a force to be reckoned with.
