Time Insults The Mind
Black Anvil Begin Recording 'Triumvirate'

New York's Black Anvil has begun recording the follow-up to their debut album 'Time Insults The Mind'. The band is recording with engineer "General" George Fullan (The Rolling Stones, Dream Theater) at Mark "The Animal" Mendoza's (Twisted Sister) studio in Long Island, NY. The new album is titled 'Triumvirate' and will include the tracks "The Evil Of All Roots," "What Is Life If Not Now!," "Angels To Dust," "Ultimate Reality," "With Transparent Blood" and "Dead and Left."

central theme will be that of "Beginning and End." A late spring release date is expected with more album details to be announced shortly.

Additionally, Black Anvil will take part in the 2010 Scion Rock Fest. This event will be held on March 13th in Columbus, OH.

FREE Tones Of Death Show Tomorrow (9/03)

That's right, it is that time of the month again for another FREE metal show at Fontana's Bar (105 Eldridge St., NYC). This time around it is the CD release party for Black Anvil, also playing is Binary Code, and a Very Very Special Guest that can not be definitely don't want to miss this show.

To make this night even better, there will be a guest DJ set from Brian Fair of Shadows Fall. Doors are at 8PM & is 21+.

Once again, these free metal night's happen the first Thursday of Every month at Fontana's Bar starting at 8PM. Each month is totally different, the only thing that stays the same are the great metal bands that play each time.
