Attila Signs With Artery Recordings
February 18, 2010
In another move that seems to signify signing Statik Factory's entire roster over to a new label, Artery Recordings has announced the signing of Attila to the label. (Let's hope that that this signing leads to one of these label reps getting their head out of their asses and signing Whisteria Cottage too.- Ed.)

The self-proclaimed "Atlanta party metal" band hail from, yes, Atlanta, GA and mesh their party attitude with death metal riffage and massive breakdown after breakdown. Speaking on their sound the band said "Our aim is to create heavy music that is extremely fun to listen to, and even more fun to enjoy at a live concert. Every show is a party, and we encourage our fans to get on stage, hang from rafters, crowd surf, head-walk, stage dive, and take the mic."

Speaking on the band, Mike Milford (ex-Scars Of Tomorrow) of Artery Recordings said "We first heard of Attila through the band's close friends (and now Artery Recordings label-mates), Chelsea Grin. We checked the band out on the "Grand Slam" tour with Chelsea Grin and the energy the band brought to the venue was intense. We instantly formed a working management relationship with them and it just seemed right to bring them to Artery Recordings."

The band are about to enter the studio in Portland, OR with Producer Stephen Hawkes (Burning the Masses, American Me) to begin work on their Artery debut to be released this summer. Speaking on the upcoming album, the band commented, "The album title is 'Rage'. The word 'rage' has multiple meanings, ranging from a state of anger to the slang term for a crazy party. The lyrics cover both."

Attila formed in 2005 and have released two previous albums: 'Fallacy' and 'Soundtrack To A Party'. The band members range in age from 17-22 and recently, lead singer Fronz hilariously requested to be made into a male model, and so was featured in an episode of MTV's MADE. Attila have previously toured with Arsonists Get All The Girls, See You Next Tuesday, American Me, Dr. Acula, Chelsea Grin, Within The Ruins and We Are The End. Theywill be hitting Europe with Hed P.E. and Threat Signal from March 3rd to April 10th, and catch them back in the US this summer. Dates are below.

Arsonists Get All The Girls Announce 'Portal' Details
May 20, 2009
Santa Cruz, CA noisemongers, Arsonists Get All The Girls, have informed the music industry that heavy, technical music can be successful since unveiling their Century Media debut album, 'The Game of Life'. The band has created a sound all their own and have become well known for their brand of grind, which has even been featured on MTV’s Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Duel II. The album was recorded by Zack Ohren (As Blood Runs Black, All Shall Perish) and features 11 glorious grinders like β€œMy Cup’s Half Empty” and β€œViolence in Fluid –Triceratops”.

'Portals', sees the band in new form, now using only one vocalist instead of their previous two singer attack. The presence of the one vocalist serves to sharpen the band’s straight-ahead metal attack and more importantly creates a cohesive album the flows perfectly from start to finish. 'Portals' was produced by the extremely talented Zack Ohren (All Shall Perish).

Arsonists Get All The Girls are also extremely excited to announce the Lambgoat sponsored No Care Ever Tour, which sees them headlining across North America. On the Canadian dates of the trek, direct support will come from label mates The Agonist and also features APFP, Chelsea Grin, Attila and Execute The Sinner. See You Next Tuesday will be providing direct support in the US alongside Knives Exchanging Hands, Attila and Fell Silent.

The band has just completed the European Thrash & Burn tour and drummer Garin Rosen comments: β€œThis whole tour is a dream come true. Finally coming to Europe and watching kids that can't speak a word of English singing along to every word. I can't wait to come back and bang my head with the crazy Europeans yet again!”

Since their start in August 2005, Attila has been injecting an upbeat and energetic feel into the metal industry. Based out of Atlanta, GA, this five piece metal band has taken the scene and turned it upside down.

Their second full-length release, entitled 'The Soundtrack To A Party', kicks it up a notch by pumping in captivating beats and outlandish lyrics, all backed with high paced, aggressive riffs and vicious breakdowns.

Thsir December 9th release of 'The Soundtrack To A Party' coins the term, "Partycore", and puts a new and lively genre on the map. Suffice it to say 'The Soundtrack To A Party' takes the death out of metal and brings it to life.
