The Great Celestial Delusion
As Eden Burns Searching For New Vocalist
March 9, 2009
Houston's tech melodic extreme metallers, As Eden Burns, have posted the following update on the band's Official Myspace Blog:

"Well it's obvious we're still without a singer. Due to geographic restrains it's fairly difficult for us to get together and try someone out live currently. So we're posting a rough track of a song we threw together some time ago to encourage interested parties to write & record over this song as the formal audition.

The loose requirements we have are as follows:
- 21 or older
- Has reliable transportation
- Drinking & drug use is fine, but in moderation.
- We're not a 'scene' band. Your awesome haircut is not going to impress us.
- Definitely someone who lives in, or willing to DRIVE to Houston for practice/shows. We are not at a point where we could request or encourage anyone moving here.

That's basically all there is to say about that now, here's the link:

Thanks for your interest."

As Eden Burns released their debut album, 'The Great Celestial Delusion', in November of 2008 via Willowtip Records. A video for the track, "Ever Again", can be viewed below.

As Eden Burns Post New Demo Track Online
June 17, 2007
A demo recording of a new As Eden Burns song, entitled "Killing Fields", has been posted on the group's MySpace page. The track is expected to appear on the band's as-yet-untitled full-length debut, tentatively due before the end of the year through Willowtip Records.

Formed in February 2006 in Houston, TX, As Eden Burns plays "a blend of thrashy, melodic death metal at its very finest," according to a press release. "Sometimes technical, at other times straight-forward and raw, As Eden Burns seem poised to become one of the biggest and best bands in the genre while still being a relatively young group."
