In This Moment Debuts At #70 On Billboard
October 8, 2008
Southern California rockers, In This Moment’s new album, 'The Dream', debuted at #70 on the Billboard Top 200 chart this week, which also marks the group’s first Billboard entry. This is over a 150% increase in sales from their previous album, 'Beautiful Tragedy', in a marketplace that is at best half of what it was at the time of their debut release.

They kicked off a massive North American tour last week joining up with Five Finger Death Punch, Bury Your Dead and Another Black Day. The two month long trek features the band in the direct support slot so fans can expect a stellar 45 minute set, which also serves as the launch of their worldwide touring campaign for their sophomore release. Be sure to visit www.myspace.com/inthismoment to view their complete touring itinerary.

Chris Howorth (guitars) further comments: “In This Moment would like to give a huge thank you to all our friends and fans who went out and bought our new CD last week. Not only did we have more than 100% increase over our last disc's first week tally, but we debuted on the Billboard Top 200 chart right out of the gates. We couldn't be more proud. We have been blessed with the best fans. We are about a week into our tour with 5FDP and it’s off to a roaring start. The whole Five Finger camp welcomed us in with open arms and we are really happy to be out on tour with good friends. All the shows are packed and the fans are loving every band on the tour. It's a really diverse line up so there is something for everyone. Don't miss it.”

The first single for 'The Dream' is the track, “Forever,” which is currently tearing up the Active Rock charts led by heavy airplay from such tastemaker stations as WCCC (Hartford), KFNK (Seattle), KXTE (Las Vegas), WJJO (Madison) and Sirius’ Octane. The video for the track, which can be viewed below, was shot by acclaimed director David Brodsky.

In This Moment Vocalist Lands Revolver Cover Feature
September 29, 2008
The wait is finally over as tomorrow marks the official street date release for the new In This Moment album, 'The Dream'. The press campaign is being spearheaded by Revolver Magazine who are featuring Maria Brink (vocals) as the cover feature for their Dec. 08 issue. This is the publication’s Halloween edition, which features Brink like you’ve never seen her before. The eye-popping cover shot for this issue, which hits stands on Oct. 21st, can be viewed now at this location.

Chris Howorth (guitars) further states: “We just left for the start of our first tour since February and it feels great to get back out on the road. Over the course of the last six months we've recorded our second album, shot a video and spent time with our families and friends, now it's time to get back on the road and play music every night. We have a half dozen headline shows on our way out to meet up with our tour mates Five Finger Death Punch and Bury Your Dead in St. Louis, it's like the first day of school when all the bands get together for the first day of a tour, fun stuff. This tour is gonna be great because all the venues are top notch, tickets are selling and we get to see our fans and make new ones, its going to be awesome.

“We will be playing a big set of new and old songs so everyone can get their fix. Our new album, 'The Dream', is coming out tomorrow and we are super excited about it. This disc is such a huge step for us, musically we took our sound to the next level focusing on each song individually and making it the best it could be, with a strong emphasis on melody, while still keeping our heavy edge. We felt a really strong chemistry with our producer Kevin Churko, and honestly the whole time making this thing we all had the feeling that we were making something extra special, we were in the moment (no pun intended). We hope our fans like what we've created and can’t wait for everyone else to hear it too.”

In This Moment will be joining up with Five Finger Death Punch, Bury Your Dead and Another Black Day for a massive North American tour. The two month long trek, which kicks off on Oct. 4th, features the band in the direct support slot so fans can expect a 45 minute set, which also serves as the launch of their worldwide touring campaign for their highly acclaimed new offering. Be sure to visit www.myspace.com/inthismoment to view their complete touring itinerary.

In This Moment Post 'Forever' Video Online
September 23, 2008
Los Angeles based rock quintet, In This Moment, have posted their new video for the track “Forever” online, exclusively through MySpace. The clip was shot by acclaimed director David Brodsky and showcases the band in a whole new light. Check it out below. The track is currently tearing up the Active Rock charts led by heavy airplay from such tastemaker stations as WCCC (Hartford), KFNK (Seattle), KXTE (Las Vegas), WJJO (Madison) and Sirius’ Octane.

Chris Howorth (guitars) further comments: “We recently shot a new video for our new song ‘Forever,’ which is the third video of our career. Once we left the studio in late July we knew we were making a video and had to decide on a director first and foremost. The choice was actually very easy this time. David Brodsky is a guy we have known for quite some time and we consider him part of our family, so when the opportunity came up to work with him we jumped at it.

“As far as the concept, we wanted to avoid having a bunch of actors and some weird story going on the whole time. We basically wanted to feature the band rocking out in some kind of original environment that gave the video an epic feel. Maria immediately came up with the idea of shooting at the ocean and we all loved it. Brodsky came up with a basic treatment that we all thought was cool and we went with it. The video shoot itself was two days; the first one was the whole band performing near the water headbanging for over 12 hours and the footage came out looking terrific. Brodsky and his partner Allie took good care of us and made it a productive day. Day two featured Maria in a huge aquarium doing underwater shots. We had the ambitious idea to try and mimic the oracle scene from the movie 300 and again these shots came out really cool. The final video is exactly what we wanted and we hope everyone likes it. David Brodsky is a great director a we couldn’t have asked for a better video process.”

Biography
YEAR FORMED: 2004
HOME TOWN: Ft. Lauderdale, FL
MEMBERS:
Matthew Wilkof - Vocals/Lead Guitar
Angel Hernandez - Drums
Das Haas - Bass
Ernesto Paez - Guitar

Formerly From The Ashes, Another Black Day is based out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and consists of members, Matthew Wilkof (vocals, lead guitar), Angel Hernandez, (drums), and Das Haas (bass). The band’s current line-up was finalized in the summer of 2004 and has been going strong ever since. With countless shows played, two EP’s under their belts (and a full length recently released), radio airplay, and a growing fan base. Another Black Day is gaining recognition and respect amongst their peers in the music industry worldwide.

The band has been featured on numerous radio shows such as Denver Colorado’s KBPI, XM Radio’s Unsigned Bands and Mayhem & Rage Radio from Florida. Another Black Day has recently recorded a full length CD at Bieler Brother’s Records (Skindred, Non-Point) in Sunrise FL. The long awaited full length was produced by A.B.D and Matt LaPlant (NonPoint, Sikth). The music is comprised of aggressive complex guitar work, thought provoking lyrics, awe inspiring drumming, powerful vocals and cohesive songwriting wrapped up into one unique package. Each band member contributes his own style into the music, which in turn, breeds an unmistakably original musical creation.

The A.B.D live show is a force to be reckoned with. Another Black Day pours all of their energy and aggression and musical prowess into a wall of kinetic energy. Angel’s drumming is dead on, Haas’s bass lines are tight and powerful, Matt’s vocals are earth shattering and coupled with blistering guitar work he forces the crowd into the A.B.D onslaught. Put all of that together with constant movement on stage and you have the Another Black Day's live show…Excitement…Energetic…and Flawless.
