Hate Eternal Drops Off JFAC Tour, Erik Rutan Hospitalized
November 29, 2008
Hate Eternal have issued the following update regarding the JFAC tour:

"Hate Eternal have been forced to drop off the ongoing Job For a Cowboy North American tour due an infection in Erik Rutan's hand and complications in his kidney. Erik was admitted to an Iowa City hospital on the early morning of Nov. 23rd and has remained under doctor's supervision since. The infection has caused concern for the doctors, but the major concern has been Erik's kidney.

Erik will not be able to continue the tour, but he is expected to make a full recovery. He is expected to be released sometime next week and then will seek further treatment at home in Florida.

Hate Eternal would like thank to everyone on the tour for their understanding of the situation. Hate Eternal would also like to thank all the fans who have expressed concern for Erik's health."

Biography
YEAR FORMED: 2000
HOME TOWN: San Francisco, CA
MEMBERS:
Leo MIller (vocals)
Frank Costa (guitar)
Chase Fraser (guitar)
Dan Kenny (bass)
Navene Koperweis (drums)

Animosity Started around November of 2000 by four high school friends: Leo MIller (vocals), Lucas Tsubota (drums), Nick Lazaro(guitar) and Frank Costa (bass). Frank and Nick had previously been in bands since the age of eleven. The first show was only a few weeks after the formation in a friends backyard. They only played four songs but it was way hard. They played a few shows around Northern California with bands like Hoods, Sworn Vengeance, Hardluck, All Bets Off, and many other local hardcore bands. For a while, things were really not going anywhere and Frank tried to quit numerous times. After a few line up changes Nick ended up on bass and Frank on guitar and all was well. Also, Navene of Ragression joined the band replacing Lucas on drums which turned everything around. One month after Navene joined, Animosity recorded the Hellraiser demo 2001 which is still on sale. Navene made his debut at Westcoast World Wide in Sacramento and immediately caught the audiences attention. Animosity played a bunch of shows with Navene and later added his younger brother Sean. Since the addition, Animosity has played with bands such as Throwdown, Dragonlord, Impaled, Candiria, Exodus and many more. The creativity and talent of such young kids is beginning to make a name for Animosity. Animosity continues to play weekly around California and is the youngest band to date in the Nor-Cal Scene consisting of members ranging from 15 to 17 years old. Their brutal blend of Heavy Hardcore and Death Metal continues to surprise people every show.
